Under diamond and imbued diamond there is no mention of the act of imbuing a diamond. This is a class and deity limited ability. Cleric, and Shaman classes of the deity Mithaniel Marr are empowered to imbue diamonds with the use of the imbue diamond spell. These imbued diamonds are then used to make the above recipes. Cleric, Druid and Shaman classes of other gods have other gems that they can imbue which in turn have other recipes that can be made. My Cleric of Rodcet Nife imbues Pearls. My cleric of Bristlebane imbues peridots. My Druid of Karana imbues Plains Pebbles. I clicked on the link to the the spell information for imbue diamond above and found a post (by agonizer 2/22/203 and updated 1/28/2007) which anyone interested should read because it is the most complete list I have ever seen, but is still incomplete. I did not link it because so many links quit working or the website closes down.

the spell may be deity required to cast but it is also used in tradeskills.

The Spell: Imbue Diamond, is found in the Temple of Marr in North Freeport. Locarme Zennix sells cleric spells on the main floor down the hallway to the right of the main door. The spell costs approximately 13pp.

This spell is deity required MM unfortunately.
