Book Text:

Following my previous
research on the topic of
armor empowerment, I have
discovered new methods to
create seals of admirable
power. Like the work done
with the Underfoot's
mystical Cosgrove, these
seals will again be crafted
through the art of pottery.
However, rather than
Cosgrove, these seals are
crafted by the unusual but
quite powerful lucid
remnants of dreams
themselves. I believe most
Norrathians have taken to
calling this substance
dream dust.

I repeat my previous work
in re-stating the
following.

You will need to make a
seal specific to the armor
you are placing it on, and
certain effects only have
an affinity for certain
locations on the body.

There are seven locations.
For each location you will
need a chainmail template
pattern.

Start the creation of your
new seal by shaping a bit
of soloist dream ceramic
clay around your chainmail
template.

I find that soloist dream
water is the only substance
capable of softening this
particular kind of clay
into a workable form.

Finally, impress a seal
pattern into the surface of
this shape.
These steps should leave
you with an unfired seal
which can then be attuned
to various enchantments.

For those who may not know,
soloist dream ceramic clay
is created by mixing blue
diamond powder, a small
block of magic clay,
shimmering loam, and dream
dust. The entire mixture
must be infused with a vial
of purified mana in order
to evoke its full
potential.

Much like the Cosgrove
seals, you will need to
inscribe the appropriate
runes of enchantment upon

your unfired template just
before firing it in a kiln.
Unfortunately we have yet
to discover a more powerful
fowl to pluck stronger
quills from, so you will
find your inscribing tool
worthless after a single
rune.
