This spell does work with Shackle of Spirit. If the debuff doesn't resist, you have about 5 to 10 seconds to land shackle of spirit.

I'd have expected to be able to cast Shackle of Spirit on a mob after this spell lands (ala the shaman spell of make something an animal for a period of time). No such luck.
