i got one a few months ago and i could /tgb it on any lvl pc but just tried tonite 12/22 5pm pct and it wasn't casting on others anymore. hope they get it fixed
I believe no item group buffs work on other groups anymore, regardless of whether your tgb is on or off. I do not know if this is a perminent change or accidental, but it seems to have been true for well over a year now. :(
Just some info for all you happy campers out there:
This guy seems to be on a 3 day spawn From zone in there is3 mobs in your way A druid can track from zone in The fight will take place underwater, so be ready for that ! This mob is doable with 3, we may try with 2...aka Lozi style.. The 3 people are Cleric, Shaman and Pally (all 65,all with non ele kit) The mobs DPS is a joke, it does flurry but anything a Pally can tank cant be that bad ;)
I was grouped with an isky shaman in PoJ who had one of these, I'm pretty sure its a clicky primal essence, and not a random proc, can anyone with this confirm this plz.I know the ss above and the attatched info says random but I think they may have changed it. Thanx
It is indeed clickable. First time my guild killed him, all he dropped was 2 of these hammers. Only one Shaman on the raid, so we let an alt run in and loot it. :) Very nice clickable buff, as it seems to stack with pretty much everything you get in a raid/group.
This cudgel drops in Luclin. Trust me. Scored mine last week and it sooooo rocks. However effect does not stack with AGI, Tali of Cat or Avatar. Still kick *** spelleffect.
A melee right clicked the item while it was on the corpse and took the shot. That or there was no shaman around to loot and a melee looted it for the hell of it.
My weapons do not list a damage bonus anymore. I seem to recall they did in the past at some point. All classes get a melee damage bonus, some just higher than others. If priests did not get a bonus, I would not being hitting for 32-45 damage with a 13 damage weapon. I would be hitting for a max of 27 like when I was a newbie.
Damage bonuses are not new for weapons. They are simply listed now for all weapons. With the addition of the new 2hand damage tables they thought it was necessary to list the bonuses.
As far as I know, priests do not get damage bonuses. You hit for 32-45, not because you have a damage bonus, but because you have improved damage TABLES. A damage table is the range of damage you can do for a given base weapon damage. For actual melee classes, the damage bonus is added on after the damage roll from the damage table. The way to tell if you had a damage bonus would be, what is your minimum hit? If it's 1 or 2 (like offhand weapons can hit for 1-2 on dual wield classes, because offhand weapons don't get a damage bonus) then you know your damage bonus is zero.
I've got a 63 cleric, took out the old Hammer in lower guk the other day, and was hitting for up to 89 when testing on about 10 frogs. 14 22 weapon with 12 bane undead. Normal logic would say it's more or less a 26 22 weapon at that point. Newbie rules would say max hit 53. If I'm hitting for 89, that definitely doesn't mean I have a 36 damage bonus, it means that the level 1 damage table of 1+(0 to 2xbase_dmg) is not the same damage table as at higher levels.
Rough guess at approximate cleric damage tables (I don't think they work as a formula, but I think this formula gives a rough idea of about where they are at a given level):
1 to 1 + (2 + level/40) * base_dmg
I think rogue damage tables are roughly:
1 to 1 + (2 + level/20) * base_dmg
I think SK damage tables for 2h weapons are roughly:
1 to 1 + (2 + level/20) * base_dmg
Damage tables don't update every level, but they update now and then. I think there are definite melee damage table upgrades at 60, 63, and 65. And of course you really need ATK cranked up to see the high hits, if you're not really a melee class, or have sort of a bad ATK. Or just use a parser to note them.
------------------------------ Spell cast on you: You feel primeval. Spell cast on someone: Soandso shines with a primal aura. Spell fades: Your primal essence fades.
Actually I believe this drops in Veeshan's Peak (I don't have proof)
Primal VELIUM weapons drop in Sleepers. Also there is a Shaman hammer that drops in VP which has the same effect as this, only it is right-clickable and only works on single targets. I heard Verant are going to spice VP up a bit too, so this may be a start?
