Shadows of LuclinThe Thurgadin also have a level 45-65 ranger armor quest, which armor quest should i choose to do? I have compare the both armor, Thurgaddin is AC+16 STR+4 STA+3 DEZ+3 Magic Resist +2 Fire Resist + 3 HP+15 Mana+15, it is also No Drop. I use that still at lvl 41! I am mostly goin for STR bonuses and that has STR + 5 and mors stats! you should go check it out! u obtain it from a lvl 30 king kobold in the warrens! so its simple. altho its his rare drop you get peices of cold iron plate armour at least. which is good fro twinkin a new char
Blea is right... I would not use this item for the lvl it suggests, but it isn't No Drop, so for kicks I might do it for a twink or something. I would like to see a Ranger with the whole thing complete... maybe thye did it like Diablo and there are additional stats for getting the whole set.. that would be nifty

Given the ease of obtaining any of a pile of 12ac helms, is *anyone* going to do this quest now htat they know hte result?
Ummm... AC isn't everything. Especially since in theory the ranger shouldn't have to tank (Unfortunatly, mobs commonly know they have to take out the REAL fighter and only attack me, regardless of taunts. Except sometimes they go for my healer :). You get some fighting utility and some bonus mana for those spells.

Not in the slightest. The Ivy Etched Helm is easier to quest for and has better stats. Only reason I could think of would be if this helm had a really cool look.
BTW, anyone know what Woodsman's armor looks like?
