Hmm, i like my epic but this comes very very close to it. I'm wondering if epic weapons, in this case druids epic, which was a pain anyway, gets upgraded.

The reason the druid epic is so easy compared to other epics is because it is one of if not the weakest of them all. Cleric epic is arguably the most powerful epic that is why it is so hard. It is all done on purpose.

just like a druid to say their epic is a pain. sorry to flame you but do you have a clue as to how easy your epic is compared to others... cleric epic on one hand; rare spawns, many many hours spent sitting in one spot to get flubgurgle or what ever only to have to possibly compete with another guild/raiding party for ragefire spawn, also make a shadow knight give that epic a whirl. of all the epics out there SK is one of the most rare on account of the item placement on mobs and the rarity of drop rate. there are many other epics that are just as much a pain to get.
at least look at it this way druid epic does not have one part in any plane. faydedar is your hardest part and even then hes a cake walk. if i were you i would decide whether or not you would use this if you wont dont roll on it if you will by all means try to get in on loot. but druid epic is still way better than this one cause this effect looks like its a proc from melee and not a 2k dot click.

Lets just put it this way. I'm a mage. The wife is a druid. We are helping each other along with our epics. It goes something like this.
Sunday: Camp the corrupted HG. Kill it twice and now 2 of our guild have the stone.
Monday thru Thursday: camp Blazing elementals.
Saturday: Camp aqua gobs for lakewater...score the item after 6 hours.
Sunday thru the following weekend: Camp Wurms in BW... have yet to score the embers...
This is BEFORE the planear portions, and things like Quillmane..

Go kill Dark Reavers for weeks on end with tons of melees and other druids and rangers for the chance to just see a jade reaver. All epic are hard.

Hmm jade reavers. Not the most fun in the world. Can be done with 1 group(not even that high of level provided you know what your doing), so exp is nice. Jade reavers aren't that rare. Got 2 the last time we cleared them.
Can get a few items to sell and mage torches while your there.
You want fun? Clear minibosses in hate 25 times, and still not get the stone for earthcaller.

Three ranger stones dropped in Hate the last time my guild went. Three Soul Leech's dropped last time I was in Fear. We were pretty freaked out. Have only been to CoM once, so far. No JR dropped that time. There were 3-4 that dropped last time my guild went in there. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get one that time, but I will. 8)

The first time I ever went to Hate, the ranger epic stone dropped. :P I've been to CoM 6 times, never *seen* a Jade Reaver drop, let alone roll on one with all the other druids and rangers.

atm u can't upgrade epic weapons, but I read something from the latest fan faire that said they might be thinking of some way to upgrade your epic.
