Shadows of LuclinHonestly, umbral in an exp zone. You don't need a "raid force" to get any of the gear, apart from zelnithak, doomshade and rumblecrush, and even zelnithak is debatable.
1 exp group can take out just about any mob in this zone. Granted, all of the mobs are basically 53+, but it's a high level zone.
The loot in this zone is great. It allows those guilds that can't or don't do HoT or other high level zones to get reasonably well equipped to be able to do the higher level raid spots.
I think by now that people should realize that a ton of the gear from umbral is situational. (case in point - a range item drops here with +1 to a couple stats and +35sv disease.... ) a cloak with +5 mana, but +10 to fire and magic is great in particular siutations.
From my perspective, this item, as well as many items from umbral don't "absolutely suck".

I see all the naysayers thinking there are far better cloaks than this for an INT caster. I don't know what 50+ zones anyone else plays in, but in my world, Sv M/F/C are very important.
At 52, I have a 205 INT and have a cloth cape and shoulder piece and no shoes. I would be happy to have this cloak to add to my resists. Twinked INT is easy and I have a buff to make up for losing 5 or 6 points if need be. Can't get enough resists though. This is an ideal HoT cloak.

Everyone seems to think this is crap, it's not, by the time you would be hunting this up, resists are at least 10 times as important as mana/int, if you don't have the resists, the mana/int isn't going to matter once that AoE hits and wipes out all the silly robes with 255 int +500 mana and crap for resists, leaving the ones with 150+ resists and "only" 200 int left standing, now who is more useful to a raid party, a dead 255int robe, or a living 200 int robe?
That said, this cloak has 2 of the 3 most important resists in a fairly healthy amount. Also, the AC and agi is fairly decent for the robes, who rarely get anything with more than 5 ac on it. The 5 mana is really kind of an afterthought, but hey, every little bit helps.

While I wholeheartedly agree that resists are important for raids, that's not what I spend most of my time doing. Most of the time you're fighting mobs that simply do not require resists of any kind.
It's a shame that part of the Dreamweaver line of equ, from Umbral, will only be useful in a raid situation and that otherwise it's not as good as a Runescale or other similar cloak that can be quested in your 30s.

Everyone is downing this. Could it possibly be for a quest. God know there are never high levels quests involving crappy items that don't seem uber.( epic quests)

I really hope that this type of item isnt the 'upgrades' they made to this zone last week. Its already hardly worth going here in the first place, lets just give us more reasons to keep killing mushrooms in FG.
What caster would want this at level 50 or better? This is JUNK. I can only hope it's used for a quest for something MUCH better.

Well yeah there is heaps of better cloaks for the lvl out there but ya gotta admit does sound kinda cool. A "Dream weaver cloak" sounds like it should be an enchanter cloak, with an effect that lowers resists on mez now that would be cool and worthy of the difficulty.

I'd have to pick the Kunzar Cloak over this. All ya need is a full group for Karnor's Castle, but it looks like you need an entire guild to get this. Perhaps it is part of a quest...

I thought the same thing as soon as I looked at the stats. 50 for this? Nah. Better out there that's easier to come by.

Really... by this level, if you don't have better, you should. This is just a terrible drop for the zone, esp considering there's a very nice cloak from the vampires in Tenebrous mountains, which you don't need a raid force to do.
