Orb of Suspension  

 

This was my goal as I reached level 98 so I went to Brell’s Temple looking to loot this specific item. I saw level 98 come and go here killing endlessly from room to room...each time looking for this drop and getting no results.. finally on 10/03/2018 I got one to drop off of a fledgling Giggin. At first I had no idea what I was even looking at after having looted every other item in the zone so many times over following 100s of kills off of both namers and common mobs alike. This item will look like nothing else on the loot table for the zone and will look exactly like the SS above. It still drops but be patient and don’t give up... it is exactly as the post states at the top... an extremely rare drop off of any mob in the zone. Good luck all...

I wanted one of these for my rogue and another for my cleric. I started farming for them last year slightly after the VoA expansion came out. I used it to gain xps for my level and to raise assassination on the rog. From mid november until december 3rd I killed 723 mobs and got one to drop. I was extremely happy. I then killed 1087 more which took me to december 24th. I took a break until 2 days ago. I was busy doing hunter achievements and missions on voa. In the past 2 days I killed 372 more mobs and got one to drop. That brings my total up to 1459 for the 2nd one. I also saw 1 charm, 2 cloaks and 3 gnome masks during this time. Its very doable. Good luck to all who try for this. Persevernece is the key word.

edit : due to the new expansion shards, I decided to go back to Brell's Temple since I can kill mobs fairly fast. so far no shards after 380 kills, but my 317th got me a zone -wide shoulder drop and the 357th got me an orb of suspesion. Which I promptly called in a friend to loot.

Dropped off a trash mob in brells temple. I would suspect it to be a zone wide rare.
