I just got all my pieces of this armor type, and this is how my stats have been boosted. Not to mention you have two ring slots, two wrist slots, a charm slot, range slot to be filled and with the new LDoN edition coming up with augmentations for your equipment, I think IMOHO, that this is a very good quest line to follow. Just tired of people slamming the line down. Yes there is better, but isn't questing the name of the game? Just my two cp. GL to all who endevor to collect them all.

PS- Throw these in a shared bank slot for some great CR items if you have better. And for an easy range get the beginner's magic manual by buying a hobgolbin surprise in bazaar for turn-in (around 50pp on Inny). I use a Di'zok Begirding and Diamond Wedding Band from ToFS. And I use Golden Chitin Bracers for both my wrists. The Fine Cut, Diamond Inlaid Mask is yet another easy quest to do which is a great upgrade/trade-out when needed item.

You want to quest? Quest a Stein of Moggok, 2hb's blow, and you can even carry your noob weap or an Opal Encrusted Stein with the SoM and have a better primary/secondary pair than the 2hb. Sure the ratio is good compared to a dagger, but chanter is probably the least melee based class in the game, right after the wizzy. Don't melee unless you are procing something awesome.

And now that I think about it, the coldain prayer shawl is a better quest for shoulders, as is the super easy Fine Cut, Diamond Inlaid Mask quest for the face. But enough of my rant, I'm finished ; )

Here's my experience with this quest so far.

1) I got my Eye of Enraptured after a few hours of playing. From the Twighlight zone in Scarlet take a right and camp on the wall just past those first 2 Sun Reaver/Reavenant mobs. Kill Tro Jegs, etc and keep checking your Tracking every once in while for the Enraptured Fire Warrior. I killed about 10 invaders but I can't say what spawned him. Had to pull him from the middle of the zone when he came up on track.

2) I got the Mark of Affection off the Campaigner in Tenebrous. From Katta Castellum zone follow the left wall until you get to the coeterie camp in the north corner of the zone. There is 2 small buildings (huts) there. Mobs invis themselves so have See Invis up at all times. There seemed to be 3 cycles of 4 or 5 mobs before you get back to the first pull, about 20 minutes to complete the entire cycle. Took us about 7 complete cycles before the Campaigner finally popped. about 3 1/2 hours of killin.

3)The sun jewel appears to drop off just about any mob in the lvl 30-40 range. I got 2 of them, one from Scarlet Desert and one from Tenebrous Mountains off common mobs. They are also up for sale in the Bazaar quite often (Veeshan).

4) Spires - doing this one tonight =)

I have one piece to get now, the Eye of the Enraptured and I'm getting more than a little bit sick of Scarlet Desert. Having slaughtered hundreds of Invaders and the Fire Keeper and Rider (just for the hell of it) I am beginning to think that the theories on Invaders being place holders for this guy are false.
Does anyone here have a difinitive answer to this? Have they killed *only* invaders and had Enraptured Fire Warrior spawn?
My doubt was instilled further last night when, after another 3-1/2hrs of mindless slaughter, the Courageous Invader spawned...hmmm well a named invader popped while I have been killing Invaders, wouldn't it stand to reason that a named Warrior would spawn if I kill Warriors?
I'll test this theory later over the weekend, I just need to repair my Tro Jeg Faction a bit, not going to be a good time to be a Cral Ligi Smiley: grin

Well, the Warrior theory didn't hold any water. Warriors just seem to spawn either Warriors or Legionaires.
Have now given up on Quest as I have a Jumpy Robe for Enchanter, but with only one piece to get I think I'll go back to it sometime.
I'll just wait until I've forgotten how much I HATE Scarlet Desert.
Got One

Finally got one. Got attacked on first Turn-In try! I am an Innoruuk worshipping Drow. I had to take High Elf Form (ewwww), then Invis and target Lara, then leave the hut and collaborate her from a safe distance. Then I was dubious to all in the hut and could do the turn in.

Not tried for the Enraptured Fire Warrior yet but some info on spire spirit.
According to the Forum posts the Inspired Spire Spirit spawns at position 5 at the top of the spire, taking Spire Lord as a starting point count around clockwise, I think there is 8 positions. You will need to kill the greater spire spirit, who spawns there, a few times to get him to pop.
The spawn times are long for most, Position 5,6 and 7 seem to be about 25 mins but Position 4 only about 10 or 15...this might be random but position 4 always spawned out of sync with the others I was killing, wanderer also seemed to be out of pattern.

They are Necro's and will have Damage shields up but no pets...they also have a really low Aggro radius and I never picked up an add from any of the wanderers up there.

I took out positions 4, 5, 6 and 7 plus the wanderer that stands inbetween 6 and 7...prolly killed about 15-20 Greater spirits with no named at alll but was short on time so was only there for a couple of hours.

*Most* of the Spirits do not see invis but, similar to Shadows in TS, some do, con them before approaching too closely, the Spire Lord DOES see invis.

They are not social, you can pull one from next to another with out an add but as they can gate fight them pretty close to their spawn point if you can.

You want a high MR they spend half the fight trying to fear. You will also find wandering Shiknars and Rock hoppers up there, unless you've been killing Shiknars this should not be a problem, the hoppers in ML are not aggressive. I was under the impression that the Shiknars protect the spirits, as I had some adds when fighting downstairs but I think this was more to do with Boon of Garou then any allegience between the Spire Spirits and Shiknar

To confirm, Position 5 *is* where the Inspired spirit spawns, it took me several attempts but I guess at least there was Exp to be had there.
None of the named spirits are casters, only melee and as such are a walk over compared to their Necro Sisters.

Cost?

I would say maybe acouple hundred plat if that! IMO this robe is ok there are a lot better robes that are more chanter friendly and sell for less than this does..I would say pay no more than 500p if that

are you kiddin'? not totally sure what bcr's go for these days, but back when i picked one up for my chanter, it ran for about 1k average market price. i got it a bit cheaper, but still, i could have sold it right back out for over a k. now i look at this, and the ac blows it away, the int is 2 better, cha is the same, and this has dex and decent resists for its lvl, then to top it off, this looks alot better and is a heck of alot more rare than most any comparable lvl robe. this should definately be worth at very least a k or better imho.

One of the things the FAQ for Submissions says is they don't want illusions. Maybe this person read that?
For instance, I can't send in a shot of my Bard wearing Singing Steel as an Erudite.
Although, robes are a grey area with casters, so I'd imagine it's up to the person who actually sorts and posts the pics.

quoteing the submision rules
"No Illusions. The armor must be wearable by your race, and we don't want 14 different races with the same name wearing the same armor. "
Im sure this applies to illusions of races such as ogres who cannot wear the items, not to the races who can use the robe. As we can see from the erud male and delf male fashion pics, illusioning yerself into a race who can use the item is acceptable.

Anyways, I'd rather have 14 different races with the same name than none at all for a all/all item.
Dont waste you time

It seems to me that any enchanter 46+ wouldn't really want this robe when the robe from Hate has excellent stats (far better IMHO) I'm not sure of the rarity of the robe dropping in Hate, but on my first (and only) hate raid 2 dropped. It would be interesting to see how this robe looks though, because fashion is important =)

well, if you have ever played a chanter...you'd know that they get to go to zones much earlier than anyone else, just like clerics. They are a highly unique class that can offer the best of their line of spells (haste, clarity, mez, etc...) Hence a chanter could obtain this robe much earlier than the quest states. Whereas to get the Hate robe you MUST be at least 46! If my chanter could obtain this robe at level 35 even or so, it would be very awesome to have until i obtained my hate robe (which, as all of you are doing, comparing them to eachoter. They both must be very good) This is much better than my current robe, the Blackened Crystalline Robe (which is common for chanters). Another thing about this robe over the Hate robe, is you will get ALOT of xp obtaining this item due to the camps (sure they may be tedious, but what else would you be doing? OT...DL? See what I mean! You'd take a boring camp for xp rather than a boring camp for xp AND quest items? Not me ; ) On hate there's a "Very Small" chance you will ding multiple times =P

But, what do i know...I'm just a freak teddy bear possessed by demons, My name is Rupert. *in an evil voice* Come play wiht me >) Be sure and download CKY 1, 2, and 3 kids.

I'm not certain about the stats on my current robe, but I've been to Hate once before. Nothing for Chanters dropped that time - though the sole Iksar Shammy got loads of stuff. So did the Iksar Warrior for that matter >_< As far as I know, Chanter stuff dropping there isn't exactly common. So heck yeah, I'd like to add this robe to my collection! If only for a new look to sport when wandering around.

I will definately some nice robe after I hand all mine in for the epic /cry. I have lots of the components for it. Anyone know where the misc. items dropped off of?
BTW this is the only item I have seen the stats of so far which would make the quest worth it.

This robe has nice ac, and more Int than most (oracle, crystalline, etc) plus other stats. It seems like the chest items are the good pieces in these twilight quests. Hope this has a nice graphic, we'll probably start seeing a lot of these.
