Compare the stats on the Bracer of Hammerfal quest from Skyshrine with the stats on this bracer. They share many of the same attributes, although the Bracer of Hammerfal is superior in terms of Stamina and direct HP. Granted, the Hammerfal weighs 4.1 pounds instead of nothing. However, earning enough faction to be dubious in Skyshrine will probably take much less time than is necessary to complete this quest, much less do it twice.

For a druid, the Hammerfal quest is simplicity itself to effect. One has but to wait until the proper NPC is up in SS, then port back and forth between CS and GD until you get the bracer reward. I got the bracer on my first attempt, so it only exacted a price of 50 plat (not to mention that I got about 6 plat back in cash as a quest reward) and an investment of about 20 minutes time. The hammer summoning effect can come in handy more often than you'd expect -- you never know when your monk puller will run out of shuriken and need something to throw. That was precisely the reason why I did the quest.

You could do it twice if you so desired. Although, as a previous poster said, it would probably be in your best interest to simply purchase a CBB, especially since it now has the affliction focus effect.

I fail to understand why these quests are in the game...or at least with the rewards as they are..for all the time and effort put into them one would think the items would be ALOT better..by the time your high enough to do them most folks already have better items..seems to be a waste of time in my opinion..

This quest armor does seem to be a little light on what we need most..(wis). Seems that Verant could come up with some better armor for us or something.

There is some awesome armor that drops in ME great wis all the things we drool over and guess what? It's not Druid usuable. I don't understand the reasoning on that one..I was like oooo +8 wis range slot till they listed the classes and then its like well %#%$ screwed again:p

.. a druid bracer linked to Warrior Bracer? Check the links, whoever takes care, I expected to see the stats of the Soldier's Bracer, not this one, when I clicked the link.

And indeed - all these items take lots of travelling, killig, camping, tracking, whatever else, and the reward is crappy. I mean the warrior items are like the crafted items, just that have a bit more stats on these and few more items in the set, with the same AC. Crafted can be done at lvl 20+ with friends, this needs significally higher lvl people. And the reward? Bah.
why?

Why would any druid actually do this quest? This item is a piece of junk and most druids have better by level 25.
Figures...
