Shadows of Luclin
This weapon is...well...sad. With the amount of effort you would have to put into getting this item, and the level you would have to be, it just plain sucks.
The weapons ratio is 2.5 just for comparison a Polished Steel Ulak (a much easier to obtain weapon, with comparable stats) has a ratio or 2.7 if I remember correctly. Now, I didn't include damage bonus since it varies depending on what level the person using it is, and I didn't include the fire damage, because it's inconsequential, considering the fact that it can be resisted and at the level you would be able to obtain this weapon most mobs will resist this added fire damage.
You can get a PSU at level 30 in Dawnshroud Peaks, or just buy one in the Bazaar for about 20-40pp. To get this weapon you must be about level 55+ with a raid force of other people 55+, and it will take you hours, in which time you are not assured that you will actually get this weapon.
Now, I'm going to make another assumption, but I would guess that most Beastlords and Monks of appropriate level to obtain this weapon will already have thier epics, or better. Now who in thier right mind would trade thier epic (a vastly better weapon) for a weapon of this quality? No one.
There is a serious lack of Hand to Hand weapons in this game for Monks and Beastlords that are obtainable without being either insanely lucky or very dedicated (read: sup3r ub3r). If you compare mid-level H2H weapons (especially Luclin Weapons)you will notice that they have something in common. Almost all of them have the same ratio as the Polished Steel Ulak, or very close. So, other than trading one for another due to stats (which are minor) there are few resonably obtainable H2H weapons for the average mid-level player.

Thats not how dmg bonus works anyway, noob. The amount of dmg bonus you do is added to your max hit, so if you regularly hit for 40, then 8 dmg bonus would make you hit for 48 OR the way my bro told me, was that the dmg bonus is the least amount of dmg you could hit for, other than a miss, its one of those

This is a 10/25... with 8dmg bonus means its an 18/25... with 3 fire dmg means its 21/25... WITHI STATS! need I say more? (PS: thats better than monk hands with epic... well sorta, better ratio, but slower, would be WAY better but.. slow, just just better...)

read some more book brainy caster and learn what damage bonus really is only bain damage makes actuall attack go up on weapon meaning this is 10/25 as is and 13 25 is the bain damage isnt not resisted and for damage bonus that just means that up to 8 damage more can be made a swing say you hit something for 34 with bonus you could score a 42 damage hit and BTW damage bonus is not a set freaking number it changes depending on your level. freaking caster got 250 int but street smarts of neg 50

You have to kill a lot of mobs in this quest, the first couple of rings arent very good drops, its volume and the higher ring drops that what make this quest awesome. This is, of course, from an early ring, not sure which one, they cant all be vulak level drops
This item seems pretty under par for the risk involved. I don't know anthing about this zone from personal experience but from what Ive HEARD, its pretty tough. Anyone who is able to get one of these will more likely than not have better. This must be either a very common drop or a drop from one of the easier mobs.
