For anyone complaining about Anthemion armor, you must be new to the game. Let me introduce you to Common Sense.
Some of you people are forgetting this armor is from Plane of Fear. Let's see how long ago when the first players started to step into this plane... one, two, three, four, over five years ago? Do you really believe SoE is going to put the BST specific class armor in this plane comparable to the stuff dropping now? Please tell me your IQs are not that of a toaster. Compare it to other hybrid armor and your parent class armor, Beastlords get it pretty well. So quit complaining. If you don't like it, don't bother participating in a Fear raid.

LOL I too have a lvl 11 beastlord, but I have seen my guildies 42 beastlord in action. He did not melee at all and his pet was able to solo bears in GD. I was on my enc, and all i did was give him clarity and nuke to finish off the bears. He said that his pet heal spell healed for 500+ and cost 125 mana....he also said he thinks it will be nerfed probably :/

My 55 level beastlord is still wearing these sleeves for one reason. The leather sleeves haven't dropped for her in Kael or HoT yet.
Maybe, someday she will get the leather drop in our Guild's weekly Kael/HoT raids for some half-way decent sleeves. But until then, most of my planes raids will be in PoP and I will hunt on Luclin.
Oh, the point of this post:
Beastlords now do amazing damage, whether playing veterinarian, tag team, nuker or straight melee. The beauty of the class is knowing all the techniques, and when to use them. I too wear a tree weave. But I know it is mainly for soloing, for I rarely draw aggro if there is a taunting tank in the group/raid.
Maybe, someday she will get the leather drop in our Guild's weekly Kael/HoT raids for some half-way decent sleeves. But until then, most of my planes raids will be in PoP and I will hunt on Luclin.

Are you kidding me?? I have a level 33 beastlord and my pet is a bad-***! She double attacks for 30's, has loads of hit points and has a DD proc that hit PCs for 48! I am having the time of my EQ life, who cares if the armor sucks...if you group, you'll never miss it.
