Scars of VeliousGot this spell from a holgresh conjurer today, also the spell Chilling Embrace. Not only elder and elementalists dropping this.
I got one of these off a wandering Holgresh in Wakening Land today.

I have been hunting WL and SS for about 10 days now and no luck in finding the Wandering Mind spell. It is very frustrating, I was told the spell drops randomly off most creatures in the zones. So frustration drove me to research, and research drove me to these creatures. Problem is in 2 days of looking I have only found one and that was random. Where do they spawn and can a 47 Enchanter with a pet solo it?
Messages below said that the SS Veluim sentry’s drop this spell but I killed a mess of em and not even sentry armor!
Places I have found so far in WL that I can easily get back to… Druids tower, the injured giant, the Genoids cave, SS zone and the tigersoruses, Kael zone and the giants there, the unicorn valley with lady what’s her name and lastly the Fairy mushroom villige.. I have tried to stay WAY far away from Woshi unless I know he is dead I do not want to go there.
Any help you can give would be great I play to group and this zone is lonely as hell aside from the occasional group of 65’s hunting Woshi.

I have been looking for the spell for 7 days now. I killed almost half a level of Tigersouruses or Tigerraptors or what ever the hell they are called along with the some halgresh thingies and no spell at all dropped. So I gave up trying to worry about COV fraction and started hunting Veluim Sentries and such in Sky for the last 3 days and still nothing. There are two places I still need to try and that’s the Geniod in WL or the Siren wench from Cobalt Scars.
I found the Geniods cave but I cant see anywhere in there where it would be safe for a chanter to solo. I do not have a group and since LDON people are rarely in the Zone except for 65th’s killing Woshi or on a quest.
Cobalt Scars zone I have no idea about and may try there as the siren is “known” to drop this spell.
So here are my questions…
1. Where the F does this spell really drop.
2. How rare is it?
3. How can I safely solo the dark blue Geniods with no zone line retreat?
4. Is this really worth all the freaking trouble?
Any help would be appreciated…

Had a A Holgresh Elementalist attack me while hunting panthers in Wakening Lands. He dropped this spell. First spell I've seen drop there (but then, I don't hunt there often). My Enchanter friend was tickled with it (she hadn't even heard of the spell before.)

Has anybody seen this spell drop in Wakening Land?
I have the spell, it really doesnt do much. But I hear ya about completing your spell book. At 55 I mostly use mana sieve and Theft of thought, unless I totaly nothing to do then I might throw WM on a mob

Most of the time this spell just sits in the mana tap sections, never to be used. But when I am doing long duration crowd control, I pull this and theft of thought out(don't have S. tresspass yet). Sitting in pof with 7 mobs mezzed while your group takes out a broken golem kind drains you. Or in seb when a fight with 2 mobs turns into a 10 minute fight because of constant adds...
The amount of mana gained may not seem so much, but if you are an enchanter post class restriction... you take all the mana you can get. Plus even if the mob is dead you get the mana.
Necro's can tap/drain life...chanters can tap/drain mana, especially when the sieve/torment lines of spells(mana & hp drain) are used. Its funny as hell watching a CH'ing mob all of a sudden sit there looking stupid when its tapped out(or i interupt it with largarn's lamentation;8 sec stun/drain) and has to melee.
Enchanters do more than just charm and crowd control...

I have read this drops off the SS sentries, tiger raptors, ancient shardwurms (GD) and Geonids. Anyone have a solid lead on where to get this? I don't want to hunt in SS but I do want this spell to complete my spellbook (when I get to 39 that is...).
