I remember this dropping from several dragons in Temple of Veeshan, but the only name I specificaclly remember was Dozekar the Cursed. I also remember it dropping from Ragefire in Skyfire once.
Add Wuoshi to the drop list please!
# May 17 2007 at 11:32 AM Rating: Decent
Also drops from good ol' Wuoshi in Wakening lands, but he must need to eat more because he only dropped one :)
Rare meat

Dragon meat is rare. As it drops off dragons. =/
If you want to take your skill well over 200, GoD recipes are the way to go. Lemon buttered recipes are easy as most of the ingredients can be fished/bought.

LEMON-BUTTERED CRAB SOUFFLE
This is a banquet.
STR: +3 DEX: +2 HP: +4 MANA: +8
SV DISEASE: +3 SV POISON +2
WT. 2.0 SIZE: LARGE
ALL/ALL

INGREDIENTS:(Trivial 236)
CLUMP OF DOUGH, EGG BATTER(2), LEMON-BUTTERED CRAB MEAT, VEGETABLES
(In tanaan oven)

Making dragon steaks can get expensive and time consuming as dragons aren't a mob you can just go AE 20-30 at a time like you can snakes for eggs, etc. After you do enuff of these switch to mephit meat pies or sandwiches. Those can take you past 276.

I found everything I needed to make Pickled Dragon in the Bazaar this week. Dragon meat (75pp each), Oyster Sauce (5pp each) and Seaweed Vinegar (5pp each). Yields 2 with +3 Str, +3 Dex, +3 Cha, +3 Wis, +3 Int and +3 Agi. So 85pp total to make two of them, I can live with that!

I was 4/15 on these at skill level 167. Each success makes five so I ended up with 20 steaks.

dragon meat and stat foods
# Jan 29 2002 at 5:46 PM Rating: Good
Stat Foods of any kind will continualy give you those stat boosts as long as it remains in your upper most slot in invantory.

Alot people THINK you have to eat the stat food to get the stats...WRONG.

Kills me everytime I share a new stat food with a fellow player and the first thing they do is force feed them selfs on it ..even after I warn them not to..or they tell me they know how to handle stat food.

Put that lovely stat food in your upper most invantory slot..even if its inside a sack..and watch your stats change.
NOW go and grab any other food item you have and right click on those ...force feed that is...till you are ready to pop.
repeat the force feeding on other foods to Keep your stat food from being eatten.

hope this helps

As far as I know, the best food in the game is made out of dragon meat, only had it once, and that was on a raid. It gives +4 to all stats, if I remember, maybe even +4 to all resists, just knew that when I was handed it...all I could think was "Uber Food"

dragon meat, spices, jug of sauce
in an oven/spit

Yeild: 5

Trivs at greater than 200.

+4 to all stats

If you ever get your hands on on and want to keep it. Put it in your top inventory spot and and fill up on crap (via right clicking). Just make sure to always keep plenty of food on hand.

could someone clarify, does stat food give stat boosts as long as it's in inventory, or does it give you the stats between the time that you eat it and the next time you eat something?

Heh... I personally have +5 wis food. It gives you the stat as long as it is in your first inventory slot with food in it. So in other words, it gives you the stats as long as you're eating it. If you force-feed yourself other food now and then till you're full (put in a main inventory slot and right click... may I recommend Iron Rations), you will never eat the stat food, and thereby ALWAYS have the stats granted. You just have to remember to keep forcing yourself to eat. If you are a druid / ranger its easy, just eat everything you forage.

Beer-battered Cragbeast foods give you SEVEN wisdom. I sell them on Vazaelle in bazaar, come buy 'em up.

Qeynos Afternoon Tea is also +5 wis, as well as some other stats

+5 WIS food could be Kejek Catnip. This is the result of baking Chocolate Covered Cherries and taking them to a little Kejek girl in Stonebrunt Mountains. When you give her the cherries she gives you either 1 or 2 Kejek Catnip. Looks like a little pouch with straw coming out the top.

Force feed other food first and then pop these into the first slot. I usually put up one at a time in case I forget to force feed.
Junk?
# Jan 28 2002 at 8:19 PM Rating: Decent
Under rarity for this it says junk? What other junk can you turn into stat food? I forget the stats on dragon steaks or whatever ese you can make with these but I remember dragon meant being one of the best stat food ingredients around. And as for rarity, well, how many dragon corpses do you run across while traversing a zone?
