Has anyone found any use for the Frost Covered Gem. I sure haven't, but i am seriously curious.
Its one of three items needed for the Frozen Skeleton of the Cursed quest.

These and the other two pieces are found in the Travelers set.
Travelers set's as of 12/19/2011 have a very low yield of loot cards. I burned 20$ and 3 bucks and got 0 loot cards. Yes, that's right, 0 loot cards. I contacted customer service to see if there's something broken. They have yet to get back with me.

You need three LoN cards from LoN Booster Packs to combine and get the Blue Skeleton Merc from near the Grobb / Cabilis Stone in PoK, they are:
1) [1/3] Plagued Skull Fragment Pack
- Plagued Skull Fragment >> Familiar - Floating Skull
- Trapped Soul Gem
2) [2/2] Path of Skulls Pack >> 2-Slot Container
- Path of Skulls >> Effect: Path of Skulls Nimbus
3) [3/3] Dagger of Souls Ornament Pack [3 / 3]
- Dagger of Souls Ornament >> Augment - Piercing
- Frost Covered Gem >> Magic, No Trade, Quest
These are combined to get the BLUE Skeleton Merc.

It seems that the 3/3 loot card is common but I have yet to see anyone that has gotten 1/3 or 2/3 loot cards to receive the end result.
It is just another carrot that SOE has dangled in front of the horse to keep him following. I sure am tired of being played the horses **** by SOE.
Would be nice for once IF SOE would give something worthwhile to its loyal customers. But then again we still keep coming back for more dont we?

Hoping and waiting for some kind of "Thank You for my paycheck" from SOE but it never happens.
Ok, ok, on the other hand we now have Vet Rewards. But really... how many of those are really beneficial to us? 164:00:00 hours or 30 mins every 20:00:00? Really. Many of those could have been geared to the characters class and not just generic. Now the Vet Reward that tops them all is.... drum roll please.... Thorne of Heroes!
Now why would a caster that has Gate AA need THAT vet reward! Thanks for that one SOE!

i have 3 different bone ornaments that say they are all part 3/3 of the collection to get the blue skeleton merc. i really dont want to claim them all to find out its just a scam, does anyone have one of these yet. and what do you do with them

Yes, spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on LoN Packs for your chance to get a new skin on your merc.
Just another way for $oE to rake those with money or an addiction over the coals. Nothing new.
