Shadows of Luclin
Dropped off a Ruinous Sun Revenant. Rare spawn in the SW Revenant camp, possibly elsewhere. Very easy solo for a 52 Mage, even for a Dark Blue.

Why post all the crap here?There are boards for class discussions about what items are best and so on.If you don't have info directly pertaining to an item then don't post it here who cares if you'd rather uber item 01 over it or wether you would wear it or not.NO BODY CARES!!!!

The only reason i would wear is to be ToV, Vox/Naggy, or SoV fighting
I can see why you say that. +12 fire and +12 cold is GREAT is you don't have much in the way of resist gear. Not everyone has the funds nor connections to afford to have neck/face/rings/earrings made for them and this is a suitable piece if you don't already have something nearing it's quality.

this is some nice necklace... especially for required level 40, man would this be good for a little twink rogue or no? i know it doesnt add much ac... a bit cuz of agi, but still! yowzaa im gonna get some for me so i can make some dough

This is a gret item and has Vox and Naggy raid written all over it. For a vox raid the order of importance goes Cold resist > AC > Magic Resist, same for naggy but substitute cold for fire.
That would be the only reason I would want one.. nod.. Resists.
This is a pretty kick *** item but there are MANY better neck items that midlevels+ can get there paws on

You can get an electrum black pearl (4 agi/dex) necklace for about 50pp (the gem is dropped, so they aren't particularly common and may range higher) from most people that seriously pursue jewelrey making. for a little more, you could go to a grandmaster jeweler and get a 7/7 with gold instead of electrum. That would serve players better at hte level range given, I'd imagine, and this would be better for higher levels, when they can sacrifice stats for the needed resists. Still pretty nice, I just think its odd that its probably better for people that can easily get it than those that would earn it.

I would have to agree. After doing a little research this seem to have the highest fr and cr on a tradable neck slot item.
Definately a plus for Vox/Naggy raids. I'm not up on my resist gear, but I'd be willing to bet there aren't many neck items that are this good for Fire/Cold resists.
Maybe not, but there are plenty of neckpieces that have 10 to all saves, and I would prefer that over this. I use one on my war.

yeah, plenty of necks with +10 to all saves, if youre above 55 or in an "uber" guild. :P
