Ruins of KunarkIm a lvl 26 warrior, i was in a group in a fort group killing sarnaks when one dropped.We all rolled for it except for the player holding the bracer,he just stood there feigning LD or something then switched off. About an hour later he comes back (probably hoping I had logged) but in the end i got it, and im glad i did.. its seems to be very rare and relatively valuable,im not sure whether im gonna keep it (been a few times i needed see invis.,mostly when dueling) or create a character who could use it.
P>S in reply to the lvl 22 warrior who wants to know whether or not to use it-i dont know what your wearing now but if you've got decent gear for your lvl (FS or crafted) stick with what youve got and dont drop the priorities,its a light bracer-you can keep it til needed if anything. And if you dont know already-DONT LOOT DURING BATTLE! its really an annoying, greedy little habit!

Funny, same thing happened in a group I was in a while back. A ranger nonchalantly looted it and a minute later she said that she had to log because she had to get dinner ready for her family (this all happened as we were dealing with a 4 mob pull). After the mobs were killed I told the group that we should roll for the bracer...told them it was a rare drop and even though we don't play on a PVP server it would probably still be worth at least 500pp.
Everybody agreed and we suddenly noticed that the ranger was gone...we were all sitting down recovering from the fight and evidently she camped. Jeez, it's amazing how greedy some people can be...glad to hear that you ended up getting the bracer. Congrats.

Hope you posted her name and shouted it to the zone and told her guild and made as much other trouble for her as possible. Ninjalooters should be shunned, and the rest of us should know who they are.

I know what the effect does, but is it just sparks from your eyes? or the normal casting effect as well?

Yes it has no cast time and its shows the same effect
BTW Works Great on Giants in Kael when you see people invis and try to run though. God I love the fact im not kos /grin

You cannot cast beneficial spells on NPCS unless you first charm them.
While your stories might be amusing in theory, they are indeed fabrications and not the kind of input these forums were created for.

Being able to make a buff while fighting is very useful on raids against dispelling MOBs, or even XP groups against dispell-casting MOBs, like the shamans in Sebellis.
The last time I read Afterlife's recruitment page, they actually required applicants to have a Shrunken Goblin Earring, assumedly because of this dynamic. Bracer of the Hidden is very valuable in this regard, and if you don't have Jboots, Shrunken Goblin Earring or something similar, you should value Bracer of the Hidden very highly.

It took me forever to sell this item- its nice, ( and fun to use too ), but not usful on a non PvP server when you dont often use invis. finally, when i did sell I got lucky and traded it for a ccs. But if you think you'll make a ton of money off of it, its harder than you think, even in a zone like ill omen or EC because the only stats are AC 6 and see invis

how would you like to be about 1.5 seconds faster for chaincasting every spell? Well you can, I know a trick. All you need is a right click item that is instant cast (Jboots, Bracer of the hidden, etc).
Here is what you do, Put on the right click item, then left mouseclick and hold to make a hotkey. Place the hotkey in the hotkey pad. Now notice, that you can use that right-click ability just by hitting a number key on the keyboard. Now mem a spell you normally chain cast, cast the spell, the IMMEDIATLY start slamming that hotkey. You will notice that all 8 spell gems come back in about 1.5 less seconds (unless the spell has an extended recast time)
What is going on here is the latest spell to cast determines the refresh time. Instant cast items, have an instant recast time, so even though you will have almost 2 seconds of recast to normally wait, your right click item brought back all your spells about 1.5 seconds faster. Any of you with Jboots can try this next time you log on, it works with any instant cast right click item.
So now, as you might guess, Jboots DO have value over travelers boots, this bracer DOES have added unknown value. Main thing is, you can just loan this bracer to your buddy that never got his Jboots if he needs to be ultra-fast caster for awhile.
I bought this for 1k, but I would have paid close to 5k for it easily. If I was you, I would get one before it becomes the next GBS.

Are you sure this works as you say? I thougth it just made the gems re apear but did not alow you to cast any faster. That is how similar 'exploits' work: you think the spells are available earlier when they are not.

why is this item so expencive? i just want to see invis so i can try to camp the Cloak of shadows in solA.
You want to know why this item is so expensive? Okay. You need to see invis, right? Fine. What are you going to do about that? Well,you can either get someone with you who casts see invis, or you can have this bracer. Now, let's say there's nobody around who can or will cast see invis. Or they want a donation. Or you're on a PvP server. Or for whatever reason, you can't get a see invis. Are you starting to see its value? Right-click items are canned independence, baby. Just imagine how valuable an unlimited charge, clickable, droppable bracer of minor healing would be! It would stomp a fungi tunic. Also, the instant buff is great- I can't think of any reason why someone would buy a gobo earring for ten times what they'd pay for this. (Anyone have any comments as to why that is? I'd like to hear.) I'm sure as hell glad I got my BoH- I'll never have to worry about getting a see invis again. Ever. Also nice for dueling rogues ^_^ \/

For any melee character hoping to duel any caster(wis or int) this item is invaluable. As a wizzie, druid or a necro, a great tactic to use in duels is to invis, run to max spell range, then nuke or DoT, then invis again and repeat. Melee character are toast. With this item and some Jboots, you melee fiends might sorta have a chance. Very handy item if youre melee and you like beating up casters.

I wouldn't pay more than 200pp for this bracer. I also have a couple high level characters, not that having high level characters adds as much value to my opinion as other people seem to think it does.
The very few times that I've needed a see invisible buff, I've had absolutely no problem getting one. In fact, most of the time that I've travelled with a group with my monk (my other characters can cast see invis themselves) and the group has been made invisible, I also received a see invisible immediately prior to getting the invis.
See invisible is such a low cost spell, that lasts for a good deal of time, and has such an infrequent need, that I see very little value in an item that has the effect.
If I loot one, I'll gladly sell it to someone that believes otherwise for as much as they're willing to pay. Personally, I'll just continue to get my see invis buffs for free, on the rare occurance that I actually need one or can't cast one myself.

Don't be dumb, huh? You said that you have some high level characters, but I'd be willing to bet it's the typical, little-boy exaggeration that I always see from people who have perhaps one or two level 20-25 characters. Obviously, your level and skill, as well as your knowledge, is a tad overrated, due to a lack of experience. As I said, though - typical of boys. This item is ultimately invaluable against higher level dispelling mobs, which you WILL inevitably encounter in high level dungeons or on planes raids. If you think that zero casting time, instant recast buff items are useless, you must be the most retarded person that I've ever met in my life. These go for as much as 4k cash and 8k in trades on the Saryrn server, and for good reason. Many high level guilds now require one of these for guild entrance(not that I agree with or condone that, as I think that's fairly petty, as requirements go) - I guess because it's a totally useless item..... MY 2cp....

as a warrior i dont really need this item but when i go on long dangerous journeys with my guild mate we all like to go invis to avoid confrontations on ou way and i now get asked to "cast" see invis on everyone to save on the casters mana. I dont see it as a DUMB thing at all just a way for us to help pitch in with what litlle help we can

Seriously, read your post. Try going on a PvP server. There is a GREAT need for see invis there.

Arrived at fort to do some hunting today, although I had been doing front door someone invited me to back door. I ran in the back door, up the slope, and pulled a lego standing in the middle of the hall to the right. He dropped bracer =)

You people really don't see the pricelessness this item is to Rogues. I hate how I can never see myself on my rogue, so I went over to lake and after about 12 hours of non stop killing(bored to tears at that), I picked one of these badboys up. They are very very valuable to Rogues, so the next time ya see someone shouting"WTB Rogue gear!" in EC. Send em a tell if ya got one, if they arnt one of those newbs thinking there rich with 12pp, they just might buy it for up to 2 to 3k. just my 2cp.

Exactly! And hey it is the same AC as the banded bracer that my rogue was wearing before. I will probably also keep it after I get a better bracer just for the effect, kinda nice being able to cast see invis, especially if you like to rest or med hidden and want your party members to see you.

I was in a group today and one dropped from a lego at the back door. I had no idea it was so valuable! I have been camping the fort for 7 levels now and it was the first time I saw one, from well over 200 legos that I've killed.

I was pulling for my group when i ran across some bodies no one was cleaning up. I like respawns so i started cleaning up no drops... when i come across this bracer. Whoo Hoo i luv this for my Ranger. My group wanted me to put it up for roll...sorry was not on our pulls. finders keepers.. keep leaving the clean up to me:)
