Bracer of the Hidden  

 

Was powerlevelling my Beastlord at Sarnak Fort on 31/12/05 when it dropped. No idea which mob dropped it since there was about 20 corpses on the ground at the time.

Was waiting on Chancellor to pop for Prod...and just wiping throne room...dropped Bracer in about 30 min...was lucky, only the 2nd one I've seen drop in quite some time.

Was funny actually, was talking to a guildie about trying to get it, and dropped on that kill.

there's only one type of legionnaire in the zone. I stayed inside the fort near the main throne room. Cleared that room, and went around the wide hall leading to it, killing everything.

just wanted to pick up this piece. Yes you can target other players and give the the effect.

Allthough this is still useful as an insta click. It now has to be equiped to use. Not sure when this change took place.

people use instant cast items for 'crap' buffs before an 'epic' sized encounter (e.g. a dragon) that casts AE dispells. Circlet of shadow, Jboots, bracer of the hidden and goblin skull earring are just some items people pay A LOT of cash for, just for this reason.
When you get dispelled, it's nice to instant cast 4 or 5 things again to get ready for the next round of AE debuffs. ;)

This still drops as of today. I am a 53 Ranger as of this moment, and the total time spent camping the Legos in the fort was perhaps 5 hours. A rough estimate of how many Legos I killed is maybe... 50? Might be more, one every 6 minutes sounds too long.

As far as the farming method goes, all I did was slaughter everything I saw, always keeping an eye on tracking, and made a beeline for any Legos that popped and took em down immedeately. To keep things interesting I'd put on all my damage shield spells that'd stack for a total of a 20hp damage shield, and aggro all the greenies in the Throne room. Hit points would fall to about 75% by the time it was clear, but there're a lot of mobs.

Legos spawn in the throne room as well as in the hallways. I had one spawn outside near an entrance.

Is there a difference between killing everything vs just killing Legos? I don't know. I can't say I ever saw one despawn either. A full fortress generally has 2-3 Legos.

I got one of these from a roll in a group of lowbies in the sarnak fortress and I am tryin to sell it rite now on another 'puter and I want to know why people are willing to pay that much for it

nice spamming item, and really useful if you hate digging into your spellbook trying to look for see invis. this always helps when you need to go invis in a kos city or anything with someone and you want to do it quick and fast. fun to annoy people with though LOL

especially if you fight in Velks where the spiders invis themselves shortly after spawning and you don't wear a see invis item. It's also useful for mobs that will dispel (kobolds in pit and uppers in Velks)... I'd hate to see that aego get dispelled. Paid 2k on Nameless but I've seen it go for 4-6k.

I have seen these in bazaar ranging in price from 3k to 12k. I remember this selling for around 1.5k or less before bazaar came. I think the lag in the zone mixed with the jumpy motion has made people insane. I love it.

It still drops, I've got two recently I sold one for 1200pp and went back to the fort, aobut a week later I got another. Sold that one for 800pp. Now way you can get the 1500 for this anymore

you guys don't understand the use and why this sells for so much do you... didn't think so this is used for raids that go on mobs that aoe dispell ... mobs dispell everything including buffs and such and during raid annoying to ask for re buffs so you right click this and another insta right click after you get fully buffed up so they dispell this useless see invis buff instead of aego or something else useful. That is the reason why these for for so much. doh to all who thought this effect was the reason selling for so much, it is the insta right click

my lv 21 warior won the roll on one of these and when i pc'd it i was majorly surprised. cant wait to sell and upgrade my equipment, but for now its fun to pay with.

I got one yesterday, 1 am a level 22 Warrior and it works if you equip the item then right click it,you can cast it on anyone and when i looted, nobody knew what it was, suffice to say, i am happy that my warrior can finally cast a spell.

I have soloed well over 2500 sarnaks at the fort and never saw this item. I have to say it is a rare drop.

A level 20 guild mate asked me to do a transfer since he was deleting his old character and making a new one. I saw this item and asked him how much he wanted for it and he acted like the bracer was worthless and easy to get. I gave him Rygorr battle mail and gloves for it and I do not regreat it at all.

My 43 monk likes to fight in duels and I have worked long and hard on getting magic resist to 100 just to own a few casters. this evens the playing field so much because you have taken away their most used tatic. Add these in with the pumice stones and you have just messed up a casters world.

You have INFINITE ability to cast detect invis on group members... never use mana, never run out of charges

Right click on it after targeting group member or self, you can detect invis, no mana, no potion, no bugging anyone.

I was offered 2200pp on MM server for it.

Raids, invis mobs, jerks going invis and bugging you, hey, this thing is really cool. My bard could have bought a full set of lambent armor with the cash people were begging to pay him, I started an auction in lake zone at mill just by doing this

RL friend. She needed it, and I didnt.

Anyone who cant see the value in this bracer is missing some of the subtle items that can increase gameplay (its no GIANT FLAMING SWORD) that these rare finds make so cool.

oh my god... im soooo stupid, I got one of these just the other day and sold it for 10pp, boy do I feel stupid. maybe I'll luck out and find another one : )

Picked up one of these things while hunting in the sarnak fort. God I love this! It's instant cast so that makes it really fun. The visual shows yellow sparkles in front of someone's eyes... really cool to just go around and cast it on people... sometimes it even annoys people while they are trying to fight. Hehe, a manaless instant cast that annoys people... what else could you want?

I heard that if you go invisible in the Sarnak Legionnaire tunnels and walk around a bit or for a while with someone who can invis you, that the one Sarnak Legionnaire who spots you and throws off your cammo is the one that drops it, is that true ? plz post a reply

Insta cast spells are very useful in end game fights where the mobs dispell. They almost took J-Boots out of the game because of how it can protect against getting dispelled. Having 2 things that can insta-cast is very useful.

This thing's only worth about 600-900 pp on Tholuxe Paells (of course, it's not a PvP Server...), but is a good thing to have when dueling those pesky Casters that think they're better than you...

take this price and x3 to get the pvp server price! see invis for a warrior or rougue pk is valued very highly!
