All of these combines invalid now. The one listed by alla is now the right one. Spell requires the target to be of higher lvl than the bat wing one.

levitation recipe

The recipe that is listed on the page above does not work for this spell... ( A quill, a parchment, yaeth's compend pg 65 right and left). The recipe that is listed in the player comments is the correct recipe for this spell.. Uses a dew clover and pg 70.
levitation recipe for Enc only
# Jul 28 2007 at 7:05 AM Rating: Decent
Spell: Levitation (Research, 185 trivial)
- Phantasmal Tome (1) Storebought Quested
- A Piece of Parchment (1) Storebought
- A Quill (1) Storebought
- Part of Yaeth's Compendium Pg. 65 (left side) (1) Dropped
- Part of Yaeth's Compendium Pg. 65 (right side) (1) Dropped

Above are components for Enchanter combine only... I got it all together only to find it wont combine for Wizards.

Level 60 and below research is classdependant. Both recipes work.

Levi sells for one k on the E'Ci server and you can have wizzy friend make it with rune of current and rune of conglomeration bought in baz for about 300 p each a lot eaiser this way
Alternate recipe

A Piece of Parchment
A Quill
Dew Clover
Yae's Pg. 70 (left)

This is the correct recipe for the Levitation spell.
Lev vs SoE?
# Jan 01 2004 at 2:34 PM Rating: Decent
Well folks, I have a question, is there any reason a Druid with Spirit of Eagle would want this spell? Any advantages you know of?
RE: Lev vs SoE?
# Jun 06 2004 at 6:35 AM Rating: Decent
Because you can't cast SoE on a newbie or a lowbie char.

RE: Lev vs SoE?
# Jan 18 2004 at 4:57 AM Rating: Decent
Coz U can not have Form of the Howler and SOE up at same time .. so a levitation without components is a bliss, u get BOTH mana regen and speed and levi..
RE: Lev vs SoE?
# Jan 02 2004 at 2:38 PM Rating: Decent
Because SOE is outdoor only :)

Spell for the Rich and Infamous
# May 28 2003 at 8:09 PM Rating: Good
12k on xegony last I saw.

12k is a lotta batwings.

For 12k I'll carry and deliver batwings for you any time you need some.

can't charm solo the guys
# May 17 2003 at 11:56 PM Rating: Decent
Getting there using Wok wasn't very hard at all. Just one note to any enchanter thinking they can solo it with charms: you can't. The mobs were immune to charm (imagine my delight finding it out). Simple to find though, go right then left you'll be at a dead end.
Deranged Underbulk
# Apr 26 2003 at 3:52 PM Rating: Decent
Deranged Underbulk does NOT drop the spell every time. I've killed it twice and gotten the Massive Underbulk Shell, and no spell, both times. Other people I know have gotten spell 3 of 3 times. I would assume shell = rare drop, spell = common drop.
lev

Why does everyone want levitation so much? is this group or something?
RE: lev
# Feb 04 2003 at 8:22 AM Rating: Good
because it reqires no component..no more stacks of batwings to clutter up your inventory
RE: lev
# Feb 04 2003 at 11:39 AM Rating: Excellent
Also, if you happen to die in Plane of Nightmare by the hedge, you can run your naked body back to the zone-in point and levitate your cleric (so he can run over the river safely) without having to go scrounge up some batwings first!

It's not far from the zone-in, but yes, requires a good 55+ group or more if you're under 55.

Directions:
Proceed to first fork, go right.
Proceed to second fork, go left.
Very shortly you will hit a dead-end. This is the spawn-point. Keep clearing this spot, hopefully you will get the Deranged Underbulk to spawn.

Deranged Underbulk
# May 08 2002 at 1:07 PM Rating: Excellent
This is second hand info and I can't confirm it yet. I should be able to confirm it by the middle of next week.
At the zone from the echo caverns side go up the first hall, at the T make a right. When you reach the next T make a left. You will know your in the right area if you come to a dead end and 3 mobs will be there. The one on the left is his PH. Spawn time is 20 minutes.

Found out the hard way, that this beastie does no drop the spell everytime, but it is a common drop. When my group killed him, he dropped a ranger spell, and a siled for pally/sdg with 32 ac eqip in back or off hand. Good luck with him, he is a tuffy.

Sorry, brain fart on my end. But these directions are in Fungus Grove, right?
RE: Deranged Underbulk
# Jan 21 2003 at 10:18 PM Rating: Decent
These Directions are in The Deep after you zone in from echo. There are two sides to Echo.
You have to fight your way there and keep ahead of the pops behind you.
Depending on ur gear low to mid 50's should have np getting here with the right classes.
We went with 57 Warrior 54 Ranger 57 Druid 59 Wizard 58 Enchanter and 62 Shaman (me).
Was an easy trip in. Will let you know how it ends another time.

Drops in the Deep
# Feb 03 2002 at 6:49 PM Rating: Decent
This spell drops from the Deranged Underbulk (as it's common drop). This mob has a place holder, and is quite a bit into the first "half" of the zone.

Curious if you could give a LOC on the mob, it's approximate level and HP, solo-ability (is that a word), and it's placeholder?
RE: Drops in the Deep
# Jul 06 2002 at 2:25 AM Rating: Decent
Deranged is probably solo-able ... but getting there solo ... not too probable.

There's a ton of mobs (around 30 or so) and respawn time is very fast ... 6 minutes i believe.

Place holder is just a normal flea.

It drops the spell every time.
