Shadows of Luclin
I petitioned this drop off Servitor on Bristlebane. Here is the GM's response, word for word:
"I am sorry to hear that you are unsure if an item is currently dropping that you are after. After reviewing our records I was unable to find the Spine Chain Mail being looted since 01/01/2004. Due to this I would say that the item is no longer in-game. However, there is a Fabled Spined Chain Mail that drops from The Fabled Servitor of Luclin, so you may be able to get the item from them when the Fabled mobs are active again."
I would say start farming Tunare for her belt given this information.

Neither the Spined Chain Mail nor the Scythe of Sundering seem to drop off of the Servitor of Luclin. I have killed it 17 times in the last month+ (its a 2 day spawn now not 3). He drops two loots and a glowing orb each and every time. Thats 34 chances for a clicky BP without any luck. Unless I am extremely unlucky it is just no longer on the drop table.
I can confirm that the Scythe is the common drop off of Praetorian Myral. I have killed him 6 times. Six kills and six Scythes. I have yet to see the Divine Hammer or the Wand listed as his drops. Maybe the Mail has been moved to Myral. Only time will tell.

I've killed servitor about 20 times over the past 3 years. Never seen this drop.

25 kills have yet to see it drop still, tons of masks, swords, daggers, staffs. Please post if u see it drop recently
Killed him a ton and have not seen this drop EVER. Depressing really. On the bright side, there have been some happy chanters and necroes from the masks and wands. If anyone has seen this drop of late pls post.
haven't seen in drop ever, probably done about 20 servitor kills since GE revamp.

25-30 kills..No droppy. All casters pretty much have wand.....

i'd love that for my pally but it'll never happen anytime soon lol..i also wish i had a CLS but that also will not happen for a while
Will the effect stack with major shielding? I have blood ember BP and will probably continue to carry it even when I upgrade it (soon I hope) untill I get the Tri-plated golden hackle hammer off of the dain. If the effect of this stacks, it would be another good item to throw in a bag (by the upper 50's, there are alot of better options for a BP for stats, this item's only saving grace is the proc) for the effect... I need all the help I can get hehe.
They'll prolly stack, it's a self only sorta thing. Personally I would think this is more something for a warrior because of the ds stackability. Major shielding on the other hand won't stack with shammy focus line but it can still be useful to have both if you are not at a raid and play mt a lot. It being a triggered bp you can use it, put it away and get your real bp on.

Servitor of Luclin is a level 63 mob behind a locked door in Grieg's. You have to kill Prast Iator (sp?) for the key to open his door. Same key opens the door to Grieg himself. With 4 55+ groups we took him down easily. Use a ch order, 3 or 4 clerics and a 60 tank and he's not too tough. He didn't drop the chainmail for us, dropped the staff with 20int 100mana ft1, claidmore and another weapon I think. Nothing too spectacular.

If you have played a druid or a ranger then you know that Bramble coat is a self only buff so no ranger or druid can give it to a another as well since it is self only I am not sure but i think it stacks with most if not all other spells. In other words if there is a druid in the group and they cast DS then these 2 work togather thus 3 + DS and extra AC this is quite the nice item. I am thinking I need to get my Brother to bring his Rog over there to get one of these. Very nice indeed.

so now that we all know what bramble coat is, what mob dropps this bad boy. i just upgraded my treeweave to a barbed ringmail and this would be another nice upgrade for my ranger.

Bramblecoat gives the caster 18 AC as well as a 3 point damage shield.
that brings the ac on this bad boy up to 53! and the 3 point damage shield does stack with other dmg shields :)

This wouldn't be over riden by SpikeCoat and the like unless it was being used by a Ranger, because it's self only and druids cant use this item.

Those spells will never be common buffs while grouped with a druid as they are self-only. The overwrite issue will only affect level 49 or higher rangers.
