Congrats Vandorf of the Rathe
Was in Feerott for about the 6th day in a row to scout out the war, when to my surprise, the armys started heading toward each other. Was the only player in the zone atm, and had a Captain of Ykesha (DE) agro me, so headed towards the zoneline to Inny swamp. Frogs had massed by entrance, and proceeded to beat the snot out of the captain and maybe 8 of his friends, so I turned and added my efforts. Well captain died, but the rest of his group ate the frogs and then turned to me. I ducked into the swamp for long enough to invis and headed back. Captain of Ykesha's corpse on the ground, and had the Darlslayer robe on it. Since I play a ranger, and still no one else in zone, I sent a fast tell to a friend, who knew someone for whom the robe was nice upgrade. Helped them loot the robe, (costing 3 deaths), while my friend brought his guild to Feerott to raid the baddies.
During our efforts, Glikigup kept spawning and attacking us, so he was killed, and I ended up being allowed to loot the mask. (Thanks Reflex and Elfboda of Forged Souls!)
Just goes to show, even a non-uber could win big in the event by playing fair.

First of all, yes you'll only see one of these per server.
Now One of my guildies got this on The Tribunal and I'm pretty sure it is "Guktan Patchwork Eye" not "pastwatch" I'll see if I can't find out tonight and get a conformation on that.

The one unlimited charge Guktan illusion item in game, and it's essentially an artifact. Makes me sad in the pants.
Even the coveted Tinker's Mask has several running around that can be bought via trader.
I play a bard, and I love the concepts of illusions (faction modifier, and all around fun toy), but I've always been disenheartened that they have not added a Guktan and Troll Item to the game. It wouldnt matter if it were a quest, or a drop, but it would be awesome to have. They finally add one, and its practically unattainable, because it only drops in a GM event.

so since this dropped from a named during the war which im assuming could only be killed once, does that mean theres only one of these per server?
