This dropped off the named "a lost spirit" in arcstone today also. About 2 hours ago now. Look up the augment "emerald shard of relic" for the general location of the named i mentioned.

Anyone know if this also serves as a lightsource?
Psycoholic, I'm the one that looted it and submited the picture, I just tested it and yes it does act like a greater lightstone. I won't be selling it since it might be for a future unknown quest. /shrug

No one has ever needed to equip lightstones, or even fire beetle eyes for that matter, for them to produce light. An inventory slot works just fine also.

If your bags are full, when you loot it, you would have to equip it or temporarily stick it in an inventory slot to test if it's a light source or not. Light sources don't give off light from within a bag.
