You should try and be a GM since you are as thorough as one......... Well obviously you didn't read the text. If you did you wouldv'e seen that the Capt. tell you to talk to he trainees to get the weapons. And they do NOT say to give the items to the Capt. SO 4 trainees 4 types of weapons 4 the 4 types of claws (all excepts darkmaw but thats why i'm here to see if there is a use for them) Good luck on joining the GMs

I don't know, maybe you all are on rich servers, or have the enjoyed the 'benefit' of twinking other characters, but I would love to have one of these for my kitty BST. I have never seen anything better for sale in SharVal or Shadeweavers for 1HB. At level 16, I'm still wearing a mix of Ghulam and Shaded Hopperhide armor, and I'm hoping to get one of these if only to dual wield it for the stats.
It is a shame that these weapons are not easier to obtain because BSTs should be working on 1HB because there are some nice weapons available at higher levels (or for a price on Norrath).

You are also supposed to pickup Firebeast talons on this quest. Firebeasts are still red at 16. I thought that the item would at least have some sort of effect after all this trouble. What a waste of time. I know I'm not persuing it any further as better weapons are easier to get and most Vah Shirs are not going to be using 1HB.

Firefall Saurek's are still ranging from red to dk blue at 20th lvl, and the claws are just as rare as the ClawBeast claws. So figure that you will be 22nd level before collecting these things, and what weapon will you get?? Somehow I doubt that it will be much better than this one. Pity

The Firefall claws are for a different weapon than this one.. Only one clawbeast talon is required to get this weapon while the firefall weapon requires 3 claws.. and trust me, they are rare.. if not as rare as the talon, pretty darn close.. I've spent plenty of time in this zone continually killing saureks and only heard of one talon dropping and seen one firefall claw..
Ive killed close to 40 Firefalls and not seen a talon drop.... Big sigh... But I aint too bright and I'll keep killin them as long as they give EXP..
