The only thing that changed was the wisdom was increased by 2 points. Still not enough for me to use it.
New stats are:
AC 9, Str +2, Wis +4, Sv Fire +5

i agree that this helm sucks for the level you should be to attain it. It may have been cool, on a virgin server with very few high levels in the game... then yeah, you'd all be drooling over it. However, because many servers are so old, and so farmed out, the economy has hit bottom an a lot of items. I am on the fennin Ro server, and I cabn remember when i started playing in '98 people drooling over bladed thulian claws and ivy etched armor. Now most peeps refer to the BTC's as "vendor trash" and most rangers in ivy are like level 5! LOl, One day when I log on, i am sure i will see an ooc for "first newbie at the pod lift to poke me gets an fbss". Anyhow, happy hunting all!

What is going on? Did we finally give Verant enough money or something? Obviously they don't care to put things in the game that will hold players' interests. I currently have a 34 cleric that wouldn't even dream of wearing this crap... What's with the level requirements? I'll bet the designers laughed their asses off when they thought of this one...I would have...

Recommended lvl of 50 = Drat! You mean I dont get these Amazing stats till 50, whatever will I do?

I agree. My main is post 50 and wouldn't even think of wearing this even for the save vs fire.
