Ive had one of these for quite some time now,and let me tell u,wiht a FBSS and a few other haste items,this thing kicks ***! (PS:It does look like spiny) ;)

This can drop off grol baku, vas ren, or crag ligi leaders... i think all the items that drop from the aliens near elemental island can be off any variety of named alien

Actually it is off of the Tegi Leader. The Grol Baku and Vas Ren co-exsist on the two islands together. But the Tegi's are the ones that spawn with the nice loot. The leader drops this blade, the Tegi Priest a Hammer, Tegi Taskmaster the Taskmaster Whip and the Tegi Cohort the Cohort's Flamberge a nice 2hs that I use and the gray leggings. Not trying to say you were wrong because I can see how easily it is to mistake them. They look just like the Grol Baku and Vas Ren. I camped them for days that is the only reason I know this.

Well... considering the name of it.... it obviously drops off the Tegi leader.... use yer heads people please... (and yes i have seen this drop so i am confirming that it drops off him)
i bet this sword looks cool.
If I remember correctly looks like a spiny. Not positive though. I got it about the 3rd day of SoL, but gave it to friend since I was using better.
