Shadows of Luclinquest armor for the most part isnt meant to be "uber".
the way i see it...were just all spoiled these days. since folks sell stuff like theres no tomorrow and you can kill rats and bats til the cows come home and buy it. i remember when banded was "uber" and if ya had a bronze BP and a lang you were god heh. this armor sucks because we're not playing the game the way it was meant to be played
i prolly wont be doing any of the luclin armor quests for any of my characters because it aint that great. but what were you expecting?! look at crafted for god's sake....its a joke

Yeah, but this is along the same calibre as crafted, which shows how awful it is. I mean, I still use crafted gauntlets, but why would I bother doing the much-harder quest for Soldier Gauntlets when they have almost identical stats to crafted?

as i saw noted on another post we iksar benefit greatly from this, the ac and stats are much better then our quested junk in cabalis. I also like the fact that the armor asctually has stats i need unlike some quest armor that has int for shamans wis for necros charisma.. and every other junk stat
Same AC as crafted, which you can get about 15 levels sooner and only needs one dropped piece. Very disappointing.
Yeah you can get Crafted 15 Lvls eariler but why would you not want to get new armor with better starts at 45?
