Vius Mace  

 

Well, with the name Vius mace, chances are it's from Itraer Vius himself. So, forget about getting it if you aren't in an top guild to begin with, and quite frankly this *is* a POS for someone in such a guild because it's vastly inferior to Blackstar and Sprinkler of the Spirits, which drop off far easier mobs in NToV. A melee in a guild capable of killing Vius would never want it.

How does it go? OMFG!!!??? Even thought I don't like the delay, I'd use this any day. It's great to see more areas offering nice loot such as this. I hope that Verant is placing items such as this around enough that any high level player doesn't feel left out on the good stuff if he or she isn't in a uber guild.

Haven't been there yet but hear it's quite a ride. AND the things I like the most are: hp, str, sta, and MR. The Mr is definitely great. The weight shouldn't be a problem for the classes listed on it.

This is or should be on many player's want list now if they aren't fortunate enough to be in the higher uber raids. And I hope this doesn't get shot down by some high uber guildie comin along and saying it's a POS only because he has seen better. For pick-up group loot, it's something I would try for and use during certain situations.

ALSO, if you look at the delay and have casted haste on you, then you know the delay isn't a problem. With even 50 percent haste, this would be close to 1.4 dly. and for me, anything in the range of 1.2-1.8 is feasible. SO for grouping situations, I'd use this simply for the stats on it. As an offhander, the Mr even helps in duels if you are that type of person.

Now to see if someone will post more about the how and where on the vius mace.
