Freeport Sea Salt  

 

I camped the afor mensioned /loc for nearly 3 hours with no luck. But I did find three of the bags at:

314.40, 104.68
361.17, -106.71
392.05, -279.74
233.38, 199.41
41.00, 357.46

I sat by each spawn location and watched them respawn twice. Took between 6 and 10 mins.

I found three salt spawns along the path to the west of the center camp, but didn't see any respawns. After a while, I went and did the rest of the quest, when I came back, still no respawns, either at the points I'd marked or anywhere else along that road segment. I waited and waited, no respawns, I killed every "weak" mob near the path in case they were somehow PH for the salt, no luck.

Reading the forum here I noted that someone had found one among the black powder bags, tried that, no luck. I also went south to the Hamlet, and then finally checked the path East on past the black powder, where I found the other two spawns I needed.

I'm still astonished that in over an hour there were apparantly no respawns of salt, but if you run into the same problem, try following any other roads, and hope nobody else is doing the same task that day!

The five big bags near the trail near Gedwin Olshan's corpse is not correct. Those are bags of black powder for another task. The bags of sea salt are much smaller and are on the trail going west of the camp that Supplymaster Kibrek is in. They are actually on the trail itself....look like tiny bags in the middle of the trail.
