they are for the Stalwart level of culteral weapons. with 300 smithing you can purchase books and check the recipes after scribing them, from one of the dwarf smiths in PoK. also need pottery to make the molds, which also uses Immaculate Silks

It is now. His post was in 2008. Back then it was just for stalwart weapons. Strange how the Dev Ngreth decided how to use existing components to make the new cultural armor. At this time spongy loam, immaculate marrow, and immaculate spinneret fluid can only drop in SoD zones. I'm pretty sure he's going to change that as best he can so it will drop in Underfoot too.

Ok these are not for tradeskills so what are they for? people selling them in the baz for 30-40k. Probably to make a quick buck of some poor sap that thinks they are the next smithing componant for cultural gear.
