I've killed Jynhadar 15 times now (perhaps 16, I've lost count) on The Combine and have yet to see the robe. I'm wondering if it is even available on this server or if perhaps it has been removed from his loot table.
Kill #22 of him dropped the Firefall Guardian Robe. Now my cleric will never get temp/rez requests in PoK. ;) It's fun looking different as a plate-wearing class.
I wanted it because it shares the "Robe of the Oracle" graphic. Funny you mention the Shade Silk Robe -- my cleric is a tailor and makes those free for people. Lol! I was previously using the Robe of the Grove, but prefer the Oracle graphic. Call me picky and vain, but it makes for an interesting look on a cleric (especially when combined with a Groaning Mace!).
Well, my friend, 60 nec and myself playing as 51 cleric camped this guy Jyndahar a little tonight. I'm assuming he is what drops the robe as he is listed up top there! Anyways! He is a little mage fire elemental, blue to 60 and summons. Nasty habit of gating at low health. Immune to my stuns also. My friend was able to single pull him from his guards. Killed him a few times now and no robe. /cry :(
Basically, this robe dropped after killing Jyhander about 10 times.
Jyhander himself is a fire elemental and casts mage spells, hits for high 130's and is immune to stun and changes in movement (i.e. no snare or root). The only real threat is when he gates. If he gates, he'll start summoning and when that happens there's a good chance the 4 guards will join in the fight. Try to either mana-sieve him, bash/interrupt his gate, or nuke hard at the end. Oh yeah, and dispell his damage shield.
Jyhander is a 2 hour (roughly) spawn, and his guards spawn very fast...like 8 minutes. That's not TOO fast if you have a group in the 50's there, but honestly: No one groups here for experience. Ever.
As far as the robe itself...it's just flat out awful for the risk/reward. But hey, I have a fetish for robes as a cleric, so I had to get it hehe. This is my 11th robe, and it looks just like a Guardian Robe from Skyshrine.
I am only a mere lvl 20 Ench who stumbled upon this robe by chance(a BotB winner gave it to me) but when I put it on, I get +1 to all stats(3 to wis and int, prolly cause Im too low to get full bonuses) and +3 to all saves(5 to fire for same reason as int/wis). I was wondering why this is, if anyone can clarify, ide be grateful.
I was roaming around in this zone when i stumbled into his cave, he is surrounded by quite a few nasties, and he comes with them, HIGH magic resis, and quite a bit of hp, he also guards a "secret zone" my guild went there and we beat the hell out of him, the graphics of this robe alone is enough to wear full time if you can..if anyone has any idea of the zone you enter by clicking the portal email me pls, says "u do not have the key"
As a cleric I know Donning full plate is nice But I love collecting Robes I can Wear too. I have a Robe of the Living Fungus, Nobles Robe, and The Burnai<sp?> Legion Gi...I like to /a with a robe on put a fools gold stien and Crystal Websheild then stand on the docks of oasis and listed to all the asks for Clarity or Ports :P
Please do not flame me for liking robes and tell me that plate has better ac, blah blah blah cuz I dont play to be uber I play for the enjoyment of socializing and adventuring.

No, not a monk item in the least. Id take CCS over this any day. CCS Has better AC, better stats, and weighs less. They should just take the MNK off this robe because I dont think any monk will EVER wear this robe.
Unless this somehow has a really cool graphic. That is the only way youd ever catch me wearing this but it would only be for social events.
Being 55 wizard and still wearing a crystalline robe I would never give it away for this one. Heck, its probably 10 times easier to get and has way better stats...

That's pretty bad, but good that they might be starting to do so. I'm sick of seeing a bunch of lvl 3 monks running around w/ fungi tunics (mostly because I want one myself) lol. Anyone know of any other items they're doing this to? And/or if it does anything more then just lower the ac a bit?
Check my message above, being not of the right lvl, I dont recieve the full benefits of the stat +'s(and prolly dont feel the full 1% evocation bonus either, oh no!!)
