All the shaded hopperhide armors now show the tradskillable message. Has anyone tried any further upgrades? Like the Xakra Dat armor? I will try it myself when I have the chance.

What are the recipes for the tunic and legs of this? and is it just dark translucent over the newbie cloth?

These are pretty nice to make, especially for lowbies. After making Tattered Hopperhide you need to get Xakra Kel armor from the lesser shades. They drop various pieces of armor which are no rent. Then you get the Hopper needle from the tailor vendor in the Shadeweaver Thicket. You get the needles by turning in 4 thin rockhopper claws to the vendor. Combine the needle, tattered armor piece that matches the Xakra Kel armor piece and you have Shaded hopperhide. The AC on these either goes up 1 or stays the same and they all have a +1 vs Magic.

The cool thing about Shaded Hopperhide is that you can see thru it, the texture is translucent.

The trivial is 36 to tailor these.

So basically any race would appear to be wearing a shaded version of their default "clothing" that you start the game with? Very cool
oow oow MONK item!!!
# Jan 03 2002 at 8:42 PM Rating: Decent
look! the weight is 3.4 stones!!! must be a monk item!!! ;)

(i'm just teasing those people that keep posting about how an item is good for a monk or that an item should be for a monk.) and yes, i know its too heavy for it to be worth while for a monk. :p

What are you talking about, i have a full suit of this on my 37 Iksar Monk... PHAT LEWTZ!

j.k

:-) its good to see humor is left in this world

But honestly I've made a few pieces of this with both my monk and my 7 Vah Shir BL, and the level to attain should not be 1... to be most acurate it should be around 7 or 8 as the mobs that drop the NO DROP/NO RENT armour (that you combine with a tatterd hopperhide armour of the same type and 1 needle) are about level 7 or so
