This spell is not known to be researchable. The Unity line is a single spell that effectively casts 4 spells/buffs. There isn't a spell research container big enough to hold all the ingredients you'd have to combine to make 4 spells worth of buffs into one spell :) I think someone guessed at the recipe based on recipes for lower versions of the Focus line (like Dire focusing). Dire Focusing only casts the "focusing" part that the Unity Combination. It doesn't also cast the foresight, spirit, or strength components that the Unity combination casts. I'd love to see the unity line be researchable, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

It was boarded as a makeable spell,,, check with EQ, Zam's Board's ETC. Have a nice day !

That recipe does not make Talisman of Unity Rk. II, it's makes Blood of Avoling Rk. II. It may have been "boarded", what I'm saying is I don't believe anyone ever sucessfully made the spell using that recipe. I could be wrong, I just don't believe it. I believe that, as with many spells, people use lower level versions of the spell to "guess" at what the recipe would be. Technically, if Darkpaw Focusing Rk. II had it's own recipe, the above recipe would make sense (I also believe that the listed recipe makes no sense for Blood of Avoling which is a poison and disease cure - it should have ingredients in it to that effect). Alas, Darkpaw Focusing Rk. II does not have it's own spell, so, this recipe wouldn't make it nor does it make Talisman of Unity.

I believe if you look three posts lower from where it was "boarded" you'll see the same poster say:

"Well, it turns out this is likely the correct recipe but is bugged and gives a different spell.

Detrolyn"

Do not try and make this spell .... it is either bugged or has a regeant flaw... it actually makes Level 85 Blood of Avoling RK. II.... BYREN we need your assistance please....LOL !
