One definite combine that it is used in, is with the task called CURE THE CRUD, giving by Kerrin the Unkempt in Oceangreen Hills.
Kerrin gives you a 4-slot container called a Stone Vial. Combine a Pinecone, an Oceangreen Wheatgrass and a Mild Maggot Acid inside it to make Vial of Curative Elixer.
The Stone Vial is used up on this combine.
