The final poison is NO RENT so dont log before finishing the quest. This is a pain if you catch the lag I did traveling the Luclin Zones

If you go link dead or log you have 30min real time to to log back on before all NO RENT items go bye bye. they coem back on if you log back on in 25 min but I would not push it any farther cause you might have extra time getting on or what not. And also not sure where you have to go for it to stop the timeer. BUt once oyu log on its starts all over again. Just my 2cp
Non-Halfling Rogues and Sneak/Hide

All halfling classes get Sneak/Hide at level one, but to clarify, only rogues can use both skills in conjunction and MOVE. With all other classes, once you move, you come out of hiding, until that class can get both Snaek and Hide at higher levels. If only one of those two skills is attainable at higher levels, then you will still not be able to move without becoming visible.

That being said, I have a halfling rogue alt that I will eventually use to complete this quest. Thanks to all who posted details and hints.
About Faction

A friend of mine carried out this quest (High elf). And when done both Katta, and Sarus faction went up from Appr. to indiff.
Don't know if it had to do with the quest, but it's the only thing we could think of.
yes, level to attain: 1

a level 1 halfling, woodelf or dark elf rogue using their racial hide COULD do this at level 1...
a level 3 half-elf, barbarian, vah shir, dorf or human rogue could do it since hide is a level 3 rogue skill...
a level 4 chanter gets invisibility...
a level 5 druid gets cammo (although echo caverns and fungus grove are indoor zones and the other route to katta has see invis mobs)...
a level 8 mage gets invisibility...
a level 8 necro gets gather shadows...
a level 15 ranger gets cammo...
a levle 16 wizard gets invis...
a level 19 bard gets invis song...
a level 29 shaman gets invis...

I think you get the point, the only trick is the travel which is easy for some and hard for others and risky regardless of level. If you are good at in game travel and have nothing in your range slot then do this quest at a very low level, if you have to ask for a loc to find the tunnel in EC every time you go there find something else. The stuff that is going to kill you at level 4 when invis breaks could very easily kill you at level 50 so why wait?

When I did this quest I didn't notice any major faction changes with anything in katta or sanctus seru ie going kos to NPCs I was not kos to before or no longer kos to NPCs I used to be kos to or any big jumps with any one faction like from dubious to warmly or warmly to dubious although I belive that in the end my hand of seru faction was a step higher than before I started.

What about the faction hits
# Feb 25 2002 at 2:45 PM Rating: Decent
OK, so this is a very easy quest. BUT, what about those faction hits? Has anyone finished this quest and if so, how do you con to the hand of seru or the others that you lose faction with?
Or do these cancel each other out?

EASY!
# Feb 12 2002 at 1:43 AM Rating: Decent
This is purely a FedEx quest and very easy to do if you know your way around Luclin and the location of all the necessary NPCs.
Fairly Easy

I did this quest last night with my lvl 29 druid. Very easy quest, the hardest part was finding the NPC's locations. I did sweat a little while running through Fungus Grive (since I think everything in there was red to me) but if you go camo or invis you should be fine. Also, make sure you have maps of all the zones you will be entering before you go, it will make your life much easier. Fun quest! Go get your Eye of Trust fellow Norrathians!

Lvl to Attain 1?
# Dec 21 2001 at 4:21 PM Rating: Decent
Hmm, this dosent seem right, a nice item with ok stats, so how can a lvl 1 get it?

Additionally, Allah's tends to put "level 1" as their requirements on quests that they are sure about yet. Right now, it's hard to be sure about many quests.

aye it can be done at lvl 1 read the quest

It can not be done solo at lvl 1. you would still need a great deal of help getting to sanctus seru in the first place much less from SS to katta. sure if you are traveling with a wizzy that can tl you to your bind and then invis you through all these zones i suppose its posible by a stretch of the term

True, the travelling between quest mobs is all but impossible for level 1 character, but since the quest is nothing but taking items between npcs, and as there is no combat, its gets an Allakhazam difficulty rating as if it were for a level 1. Its not the only quest where the difficulty doesn't match the level range well :)

3 words... Rogue sneak/hide =)

Hrm...that would limit it only to Halfling rogues then Briggetta as they are the only ones who get both Sneak and Hide at LVL 1...

Definitely, listen to Speedy. =)

I have no idea where you got the idea that only halfing rogues can sneak/hide from lvl 1. Your profile says you have a lvl 52 character?

*shakes her head*

Actually, Wood elves and Dark elves also have the racial hide ability. Means that only dwarven, human and barbarian rogues Don't get hide/sneak at 1.
