I don't know that this aug drops yet. I went to the Fironia Vie bazaar on a mule. Petrified Bladefin Eye was not for sale, (and I even tried several spellings to guard against brain farts) nor could it be purchased by a buyer, which strongly suggests it may not drop yet.
If it is supposed to drop as frequently as the ac aug from Halls of Honor, it isn't dropping yet, or I was killing the wrong mobs in Sunderock Spring. I killed Basilisks in the south east corner of Sunderock Springs for at least an hour, which is where the Bladefin Basilisks and Elder Bladefin Basilisks are found. I then moved to the entrance to Vergalid Mines and killed smiths, overseeers, orcs and gobbies. I had the 80 hp zone wide rare drop for me once, but no ac aug. Just in case the aug was invisible in a loot slot (as happened for a while with the Halls of Honor AC aug) I looted the corpses till empty and they poofed. I got about four aa's while doing this.
If this aug drops, it is pretty rare, or I was killing the wrong mobs.
I decided to get the AC aug from Argil Oppressor (30 AC, 60 HP) in AG, figuring my time would be better spent. I was right.
But once I start seeing links to it, I will be back to get mine.

the drop is NO DROP -- meaning you pick it you, its with you till its destroyed. Hence, no bazaar items.
Only a few items on Fironia Vie are no drop. It is possible to buy many augs in the Fironia Vie Bazaar. The tradeable stuff is available for purchase by a buyer, and links can be generated for these items. That is why I went to the FV bazaar.

On the FV server there are few items that are flagged as No Drop, as the RP server is has different than normal loot rules so its possible to buy a great many items including raid drops that are no drop on other servers.
It is only dropping on test, they are testing the new hot zones, and as soon as they go live they will drop on main servers.

Easy aug in Sunderrock Springs as Hotzone aug. Extremely good with Heroic + AC on it. Seems better then most of the other including RSS oddly.
Reported as a zonewide rare in Sunderock Springs.
