18 delay is great for pets, cause the hit for the same damage anyway. You can buy these daggers in Shadow Haven Fordel Corner (Number 11 on eqatlas map) for 2pp, and I always keep some for Zeker!

Sorry to tell you this, but pet delay stays the same regardless of what weapons you give them. What you want for pets is a weapon with high damage so they will hit for the max more often, or if you can afford them, weapons with a high damage proc effect.
