The symbols are very similar to the symbols made for cultural armor. Each of the symbols has an affinity to a certain deity and this affinity will determine what that symbol will do for the weapon. There are three basic types of symbols for each deity. These symbols are designated by the names nimble, penetrating and vicious. Nimble symbols will only work in one-handed weapons, not including piercing weapons, penetrating symbols work with one-handed piercing weapons and vicious symbols work with two handed weapons. All three can be made for each deity. Each symbol is made by cutting a gem with a round cut while it is soaked in a vial of mana and water and blessed by the deity you wish to attune it to, then polishing it with spinneret fluid. A skeptic symbol is the most basic, only empowering the weapon to be fully ''normal.'' Make nimble symbols with uncut demantoid, a penetrating symbol with uncut rubellite and vicious symbols with uncut black sapphire.
