Shadows of Luclin
Besides the nice, low-weight factor which might be appealing to a wood elf ranger or a gnomish rogue, does this armor have any other factors which would make it more appealing than banded? If anyone who owns this could post to inform us of the color/appearance while worn, it would be most appreciated. Thanks!
I don't think this will hurt smiths in the least. On Druzzil ro my smith cannot sell anything because no one buys it! I haven't seen anybody trying to sell or make orders for smithed items in a very long time. Kind of disappointing, but V hasn't got done yet that balance of items goodness between Drop/Quest/Tradeskill yet. They may someday however and smiths will be a happy bunch on Druzzil because they can make money on smithing again instead of spending it ;)

How this look when weared?
This has been posted many times now but if you want to shop at Shadowhaven you MUST DO THE TRADERS OF THE HAVEN QUEST to get an Amulet of the Haven (with faction bonuses) and the faction bonuses from the quest itself.

I've done the quest 4 times and wearing the collar half of the city is still dubious. Midst not included. Even my guild leaders are Dubi. I was told doing some of the Midst quests and the Gemmed hilt quest will raise them, but not gonna make the run to Katta at 26. We'll see.

For me, it cost's about 100pp for the mail, so i doubt it will put the smiths out of business. as a Half elf ranger, i have to use sneak to get them to sell to me.

Anyone know the price vendors are selling these for? This is basically Banded AC but without the weight .
Small Banded Mail - WT: 5.6
Medium Banded Mail - WT: 7.5
Large Banded Mail - WT: 9.4
I hope this doesn't put Smiths out of work making banded at 1pp per AC.

How much does this cost? Also what faction is this merchant? Someone told me he would not sell to them.
