Selling looting rights? You realize how ridiculous that makes the player look that is auctioning it? Ultimate greed and no assurances that the person paying will actually get to loot it. After all anyone can loot it after the counter runs out. Better yet make a good reputation for themself by giving the loc of it and allow the first player to get to it loot the item.

and people wonder why so many really good items are lore no drop...
There is an assclown on the Saryrn server, named Dominatoor, who regularly farms Umbral Plains for no drop items and then auctions the looting rights. He steals every decent mob in that zone that is ever up. So yes, it's possible to auction no drop items.

The solution is pretty easy. After 2 mins the corpse opens up. If he's tries to "hold" the corpse train him. After he gets squashed run over, loot it, take the death if you have to or get the hell out of the zone.
I'm for selling loot right, the game is about making money and progressing your character. Im not here to twink those who will probably just shelf thier lv 51.01 toon because they hit the hell levels and don't have the fortitude to finish what they started. (i wish i had 10p for every toon i saw hit 51 and disappeared never to be seen again)
But if you don't like paying for loot rights train em. Hell, train me if you don't like me selling loot rights. Its a game, I'm not gonna get all pissed cause you fought fire with fire. Last thing i care to see though is people whining on this forum about how I'm supposed to act in the game. EQ isn't utopia people.
And by the way...this cloak sucks if your over 55 or so. I might hang on to it for emergency med situation or when hp isnt important.
