This item is very nice. I have seen many shaman use this still at 45. Its a great item to twink lower shaman and even rogues, beastlords, and warriors(though not many warriors use piercing).
Dmg:dly Is very nice. Fast hits, nice damage, very nice.
Drawback: Price(at current moment in time)
As predicted, the price has skyrocketed(due to the thousands of new beastlords). Pre-lucling, i rember seeing this as low as 300. Now i have seen it as high as 2k(mainly in trades, but still). I am sure that when everyone realizes that beastlors lack in most areas, the price will fall back down.

I came here to check on the price, out of curiousity. I have a baby alt on one server that got one of these for free. Then when she got an upgrade, she was lucky she sold it for 400pp. That was a few months ago.
Today on my main server, I saw a guy selling one for 1.5k. I thought surely there can't be THAT much difference in our server economies, since everything else seemed similar. ) Now, I know. Thanks for the info Smartto.
