Shadows of LuclinGot from Grimling Chieftain in Hollowshade Moor. My spear doesn't say Damage bonus though. Same name though. 3/26/02
because dmg bonus is related to class, lvl, and whether or not it is a 2hs or 2hb or 2hp....

This POS drops off the guy who drops the Smudge stick. The shammys and the bodyguards can drop as well. They are all like lvl 20 and way undercon, but can be camped by any class that's 50+ Don't bother to pick these weapons up unless you're a shammy or melee as they only sell for 5pp and are heavy as hell after camping the Smudge Stick guy for 14 hours.

gonna have to say pos for the level aquired ive only eld on to the 7 ive looted in a 4 to 5 hour period to see how much the merchants are gonna give me

At lvl 48 im still getting fine steel weapons off mobs, so this is probally just an equivilant to that. Did anyone take this into consideration?
Yeah, I think you're going to see a lot of this confusion in Luclin until people figure out what the "just sell it to merchants" loot is. Oh well, fun to watch people rant about how hard it was to think about maybe going to this zone and possibly killing something to get this (which they'd probably not be doing if they had been there) ;-)

it depends on how the damage bonus works - throwing in a extra 11 somewhere in the calculations could make a BIG difference - anyone know how they work?
Damage bonus is based on level, not weapon. That number would be the same for any peircer on the person who took the shot, even a rusty dagger. This is basically a starter weapon for untwinked low levels. But it's magic, and better than what you start the game with. depends on how hard the quest is, whether its worth it.

This is not a quest item. It's a drop in a 53+ zone from a mob that hits around 100. Risk vs Reward = Joke. It also looks exactly like a 20/30 spear that drops here, so when you loot you get a little surprise when it's the junk one.

Doesnt this seem to suck for having to be 45 to attain it?
Looks totally BADA$$! Worth it for the look for sure.
