Fireclaw dropped a back item 8 ac +5 strength +10 to fire resistance when I killed him. All All usable, so this must be the common drop and back piece the rare I haven't seen info on the backpiece yet. Its called Fireclaw Carapace. Nice back slot for lotsa peeps. Hope this helps.

My monk uses this and a CoT. Proc upto 3 times in a fight. He is lvl 34 so and I wondered what lvl it started procing, so I made an Iksar Beastlord and let him try it out. Was very excited when I killed a Scaled Wolf Pup on my first hit with the 75 dd....got to lvl 6 in 2hours =).
It's awesome that there's more HTH stuff showing up... got to give a hand to verant for that.
Yeah it's about time... my Monk and Beastlord will love them, well once they can get them that is :-)
This would go great on my monk.. CoT in primary, this in secondary.. Now I can have a fairly nice weap in offhand, and still practice h2h.. Not to mention the yak-like proc. =)

was a neat spell, procs about as often as a smite from trance sticks.. just don't have a clue what level it starts to proc at.
Only problem I have was it was resisted fully by greens twice in the ten minutes I was using it. Smite was resisted maybe twice a month by greens when I trance stick it. Either the umber hulks and fungi fiends are bery resistant to fire or the spell is kinda easy to shake off.

Just so you know, every weapon procs the same amount. The only thing that changes the frequency of procs is your dex and the weapon type (2handers proc twice as often).
