This is the highest level zone in the newest expansion in the game. Why are the single group drops so bad?

No this is the endgame raid zone. Infact its not even that, the Raids are instanced Versions i believe. The raid drops are the bwst currently.

Congrats on not answering his question.

Just because raids can happen in a zone doesn't mean that there can't be worthwhile single group loot in the zone. It's the most dangerous place in DoN - certainly as dangerous as Muramite Proving Grounds, and yet the single group loot there is nowhere near as good? Why?

I'm guessing that it has something to do with the effort required to get into them. MPG requires some type of extensive flagging. I think the Nest does not, or at least is much simplier to get into.

Oddly enough MPG requires no flagging what so ever. You need to be 65 to enter the zone and that is the only requirement. As far as trials you need to be 68 but once again no flagging required. The nest is soloable though the named are not. So it would seem SOE has given a rather crappy loot table for a great zone. This could be due to the fact that lower level PCs can zone into the Nest and loot the drops from named maybe SOE decided that this should be a zone in which you can gear up your alts.
