Mushroom killing
# Oct 18 2005 at 8:39 PM Rating: Decent
As a 24 beast killing a big mushroom was pretty easy running only on my self buffs.

The cloak was almost an upgrade for me as a basically untwinked character. Kind of fun to hunt this one in my opinion.
not that bad

This cloak isnt great but it beats tattered armor any day, also very easy to obtain, i solo'd the Reishicyben at level 22 with my beastlord, the hallway leading up to him is filled with ShikNar which ae great for grinding experience(19 shaman and 19 warrior gained 2 levels in less than an hour)the hallway is also always empty as everyone wants to get into a bandit group.

Personal Advice for a Wizard
# Oct 11 2002 at 10:04 AM Rating: Decent
Hmm... as a wizard, I would go instead for a Runescale cloak, but that can be pretty difficult to get at level 20 unless you have some high level friends. My advice: Get some high level friends. I had the Staff of the Wheel at 15, and the Runescale Cloak, Acumen Mask, and Staff of Temperate Flux at 20.

Sensate? Is VI picking up stuff from D&D Planescape now? :-)

I went through the caverns and found this guy - there is a safe area to pull him to on the other side of the chamber - My lvl 22 Druid - buffed up as well as he could be solo - went in fighting - it resisted the snaring roots - but at the end I won and he lost - although I had very few hp's left - hits for up to 56pts. Cloak was there - great since I bought the shield earlier.

The item is off a slow spwan, but a relatively low level one.
It is less valuable than an Embroidered Black Cape, the closest item I could find to this one (although the cape is a shoulder item). I will ask 100-150 plat for this item when I sell it.
This cloak is a tactical thing

The AC isn't that hot, but I am getting to the point as a shaman where I need to melee less and cast more. The mana would surely help there. When I solo or am with my regular partner I can put on my better AC cloak.

ok i am new to playing casters and i was wondering about the mana on this. It says its plus 10 mana...the guy above is lvl 17 and thinks 10 mana is good. but at that lvl spells seem to use way much more then this, in fact it is enough for maybe one 1st lvl spell. does mana pluses work like ac pluses..any info on this would be great because 10 mana just dont seem like that big a deal

Thanks

To get it to display like that you just have to set your resolution to 800x600 or higher...The Weight Allowance is a new thing though, but I think it exists for all users, whether they have Luclin or not.

It isn't part of luclin. You have to have your resolution someting other than the default.

This can't be part of luclin as I always had this type of inventory sceen. Can't remember if it had wight etc, but i'm almost positive it did. All you have to do is (not sure either check or uncheck) same resolution loot option in the display options. Maby it's just default set to this mode after you install Luclin and you guys just didn't know this inventory screen was an option. Whatever, I know you'll all call me nuts but I know I had this inventory screen pre luclin.

#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 25 2001 at 5:01 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) If you put in Luclin, you can hit F10 once and press "I" for inventory. All this will pop up and i find my self using it often. I can also move all of the boxes of text around where ever i want them to be.

It's a part of the Luclin expansion. Like when we got the inventory screen ion F-10 mode with Velious, this is the Luclin update to that screen
