Soloing?

I'm personally all about my pet, some beastlords want to play tanks like some monks and put all their aa into defenses at first, I still have a small ammount of AA's but they mostly go into things for raiding and things for healing. I only have a minimal ammount of defensive aa so far, and with OOW I need to work on still more healing and raiding aa's like perfection.. just got the new pet focus aa also level 1.. These would be pretty good for soloing maybe, I could use a new IMP healing item so my pet heal and my 66 heal will do more, currently I do 800s - 900+ heals with my Muada's mending heal, and thats with just imp healing 4.. I can score crit heals too and my avg pet heal is around 3600 , crits for 5kish .. I'd use this for soloing definetly since I take minimal damage usually so wouldn't be worrying about stats, just mana regen and focus's. Thats just me though and I'm just one Beastlord :) I think out of all the pieces This is the one I like best.

Ciao!

Well, the effects and HP are nice but ...

What is up with the crappy resists and stats? If you look at baz gear like sleeves of constriction, dirt-covered, or the muramite, this supposed near-elemental quality gear just isn't quite up to par. Keep in mind that you can't twink these like you could velious stuff.

Just my 2cp.

well, they aren't quite as hard to get as elemental gear, hardest part being faction. But i do agree that it should have better stats, especially when they make u dish out so much mulah for new expansions.

Ok, I just don't understand the logic behind Improved Healing on a Beastlord item. Oh WOW, my 600 heal will do more now. phfft. Whatever - and if this actually works on my big pet heal, WOW, but since it states that Complete Heal is excluded and the last time I checked our larger pet heal is classified as a "Complete Heal" then so much for that!

What would have really impressed me is if they had put Extended Range on the sleeves instead. Sometimes I think that Sony forgets that BST's do a lot of pulling in certain groups because we can actually take a hit or two better on the higher end mobs than some straight casters can. Or we have to get that heal off on the pet or nuke off on the running mob and they inevitably run out of range during the time it takes us to cast a spell.

But like my subject says, it's just a personal "Gripe"

lol as a 69 bst with my OoW heal and most my healing aa's i do around 829hp heal without crits i use it in every group near constantly healing myself and casters who get hit helps main healer alot, IH5 is 100 times better than improved range in 98% of groups... really cant believe someone who claims to play a bst would rather Extended range over Improved healing... dont mean to sound like im having a go just saying that IH5 rocks for a bst imo atleast

Acctually it does affect our pet heal. And our heal is 680. This is a good item to have. Put a few aa's in Healing Adept and Healing Gift, and you can exceptionally heal for a lot. You may not think our base heal is much, but it helps. I wouldn't mind Extended Range on an item, but I would pick the healing power over it any day.

To respond to you Techno, i think now that now we can heal for 1165 instead of 680, you will appreciate this a LOT more, along with everyone else :)

I have a 70 beast and this arm is nice besides the no endurance. As for the effect of IH5. I have maxed all my healing aa's even thru the new OOW ones. With the per person heal, I average 925 per heal before crits. With a 1906 or so for a critical high. With the highest pet heal, I crit around 8k hp on my pet. So just so ya know it dont suck. As far as having an ID item and it not work on you, because there are IH 's 1 - 5. If you used your 62 heal and only had an IH 3 item it had no effect. Using your IH 4 on your new beast heal gives you a partial boost, which llowers as you level.

That's great news. Last time I had an IH 4 item and used the pet heal it had no effect what-so-ever. That was a month or two ago tho so maybe it was a bug after the OoW release. I hadn't had the new pet heal by then either so I wasn't trying to use an above lvl 65 spell with an IH 4 item. I also spoke to a GM about it when I had one cornered for another reason and that GM gold me that our pet heal was classified as a complete heal. They didn't tell me that was a bug or that it would change so I gave up on the IH item and replaced it with a mana press item.

I do have AA in the healing line which is nice but I'd still rather have the ER over the IH. Course, everyone plays their characters different and, hopefully, to the best of their abilities. I'll just keep tribute running in ER until I can find an ER 5 item that I can either afford or win on a roll in a pick up raid.

Oh, and has n e one heard n e thing about the tribute system going up to focus 5's at all? I noticed that even after the latest patch that you can still only get ER 4 or Spell Haste 4. I know these now help with spells over lvl 65 but at a reduced level.

IH 5 as with all other focus effects has a "chance" for healing 20% this does not mean you get full focus everytime its completely random.

Also if you get the aa's you can actually make a decent secondary healer heck I have 2 clerics in my purple club heh.

My best heal so far with IH4 and aa's is about 1600 crit of course. I think with max aa you can crit for 2k with newest heal, and if you crit on pet heal with those aa's I am sure you can do 7k+ which will CH most pets besides maybe a fully buffed 70.
