BUT

The developers reduced the agro caused by the tash line of spells...

Question, how much did they reduce it?
Is it still worthwhile to wear something with the focus effect Inoruuk's Sarcasm on it?

They did. They reduce all posion aggro. Tash now has a set aggro dependant on the spell. I assume you are using the top of the line one.

It is set at 1200 hate. If you max out Spell Casting Sublety it reduces Hate by 20%.

so
Base Hate per Lucy = 1200
w/just Max SCS = 960
w/ just Inny's Sarcasm = 720
W/ Inny's Sarc and Max SCS = Either 576 or 480 depending on how they apply the modifiers.

At 1200 Hate it still packs a huge walop of aggro. However once Modifed Tash aggro is very littel to worry about.

CHA MAXED?
# Dec 28 2004 at 4:34 PM Rating: Decent
I would like to know how CHA is MAXED when you seem like an a$$. No everyone has their CHA Maxed, some of us casual chanters would still like to see CHA on these CLASS items. Yes Int is more important, the Cha and Sta I believe come in second. But to assume that we all have CHA maxed... well you know what they say about assuming dont ya.

Yes, the devs are cluless about class specific items + class specific stats. They keep giving us Enchanters melee stats on our class specific armor. Give us Cha ??? - NEVER. WHo needs charm? What is that for? Primary stat? What's that? "I can't find my *** with two hands and a mirror!"

I am assuming the "who needs charm?" poster was just being sarcastic..as that the enc specific hands have zero Cha and added str and dex instead

My Chanter is level 70. Which means the agro reduction is only 10%. In other words these slippers suck for someone over the level cap. The stats are weak for only a 10% agro reduction. I think I'll end up keeping my Stoutfolk Sandals until I get some EP boots, with SCS3 and my stone of perfidious wanting I dont catch that much agro anyway. My CHA is maxed per the level cap at 305. However I do have around 325 CHA and with the +5 to stat AA's I'd like to see a little CHA on every Chanter only piece. I dont think +5 CHA on class specific gear is too much to ask. I will admit though if you do get these at the recomended level then they are halfway decent.

If an item has 40% reduction in tash aggro and even if u did have a lvl 70 tash (i know we don't so no need to post "correcting" me) then u would lose 30% of the effect. 30% of 40% is 12% so the effect on a lvl 70 spell would be 28% not 10% as u wrongly posted

Works the same for example on 20% ext range effect, like the Wristguard from Time P1, on a lvl 70 spell that is 3 lvls above the effect. Lose 3x10% of effect, so 30% of the 20% effect is 6%. Therefore the effect you would get is 14% ext range on a lvl 70 spell.

The agro reduction is not 10% at lvl 70. It's based on the lvl of spell being cast, not on the lvl of the player. Our highest level tash spell is under lvl 65 so it will be a 40% reduction in agro.

What the heck is up with all this ENC only gear having no CHA at all? We are getting screwed!

I donno about you but most of my CHA isn't on visible pieces. And by the time you can get this, your CHA will already be maxed, so even if you take a hit, it's not going to hurt much. Plus, innoruuk's sarcasm is an effect WELL worth having. My Sharp Ended Broken Lever is about ready for a replacement.

I'm just glad that my Encahnter rolled on all of those CHA augs in the LDONs. I haven't replaced most of them yet. Even with his +50 spell his CHA is only in the 280s, but that is plenty high enough I suspect.

Not sure why but my 62 chanter has an uncapped cha of like 350ish... and that is without wearing the +50 cha tradeskill trophy.

Not every item has to have cha to get a good cha.

IMHO at least.

Now you want stupid how about wis caster only items with int and no wis, or int caster only items with wis and no int (like some items in hate).

Explain THAT! lol
