Regen regen

Erhmm, when will SOE learn that Druids dont need Gdamned REGEN gear?? Druids need FT, so why the heck add regen on 80% of Tier 1 gear?? I know its easy quested gear, but sigh, regen...why not add an effect that we can use, instead of a (timed) clicky effect, that lasts 30 sec, and gives us Spellhaste?...for WHAT? as it only lasts 30 sec, u might try and calculate if its even worth CASTING to save time...

So next we will see is a Bard clicky, SELF only, effect - KEI? (wich doesnt work on bards)...

edit

Sorry to post this here, but this was last item i checked from the list of Druid Tier 1 gear.

Obviously, you have not done much with your druid, if you feel regen is useless. It's nice for so many different reasons, it would be impossible to list them all, but here are a few:

Area efect spells. You'll take some damage from these, and its really nice to not have to target yourself and heal this damage. Regen will fill you back up pretty quickly.

Mis-timing a nuke while kiting. Whack, you get hit, then take off running. Your HP fills back up on it's own.

Mod rods. Free mana, but it takes HP. Regen fills this back up faster.

Charmed pets. They break charm, and both your ex-pet and whatever it was fighting, comes after you. You recharm, but by then you're half dead. Regen helps fill that back up, so you can concentrate on your pet.

In reality, regen is much MORE useful for a druid, or other caster, than for a tank. The tank WILL get heals, during the fight, and the damage they take makes regen meaningless.

However, the other classes will be taking smaller amounts of damage, from AE, rampage, etc. They WON'T be getting guaranteed heals, so regen might just save the day.

Actually, Druids can use regen for something...

TANKING THAT FRIGGIN' GREEN NAMED THAT'S PISSED ME OFF FOR YEARS!

There ya go, there's a use.

Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and agree that regen is pretty nice. With all of my regen on my gear and regen-abilities (longer duration ones, I don't mean Spirit of the Grove) I'm getting upwards of 125hp a tick, which I don't think is too bad.
