Omens of War
Won this tonight, Very nice and well rounded weapon, Great dmg too and not too slow , hit 416 max non crit and 1390 crit with inner flame ( im a monk lvl 68 ) , no partical effect graphics on this one

Not quite true. The Rime-encrusted Pikestaff is a bit worse in every way, from ATK/DLY, through AC, stats, resists and HP/Mana. The difference isn't huge, but MPG trials need to be done with *well-equipped* idiots; this encounter looks quite doable by those of us with lesser gear. In addition the event looks like it will be fun.
When judging equipment on a public forum where other folks are watching, you need to ask yourself "what kind of an upgrade would it be for those killing the MOB", not just "What kind of an upgrade would it be for me".

When you say lesser gear, do you mean high EP gear?
These Raid Trials are extremely demanding on high ep gear raiders. It's still pretty hard for GoD geared raiders.
All in all, those who expect to be getting this item as a VERY HIGH UPGRADE are those who will be tagging along with a guild that are already in Anguish and beyong this.
Those who morelikely will get this will have it as a "good" upgrade but NOT a "great" upgrade.
Since ALL UPGRADEs are good, congrats to whomever attains this piece of art!

Yes, that's what I mean, in general. What is left of our guild is gunning for these kind of guys, and we never hit Time (though we spent a while farming Lewtz in the EPs).
That said, we have found that if we are on our toes, we can win some of the MPG trials as well and thus beef us up, bit by bit.

60/36 with +25 to main stats, +30 most resists, +265 hp/mana/end and a 250 proc?

Hmm. Godly you say. Is EQ even worthy of godly anymore? Its stretched, and abused, and used way too much. Godly, was 3 years ago, back in velious, when rumors of the Palladius' Axe of Slaughter hit the players, it was nearly un believable, people of all levels stop in aw over that one, or those few who had earned such a weapon. Now what? What do we see now?
