Effect is Taunting Blow

This item has a backstab value of 18. The effect is Taunting Blow (hate 450 req level 60), NOT Enraging Blow (hate 700 - req level 70). Slight difference, yet so HUGE.

Actually the effect is in fact Enraging blow NOT Taunting blow, I'm looking at it right now. It possible it was changed since you posted in April but now in october it is most definately enraging blow.

I'm curoius as to the usefullness of this though? My pet never looses aggro to me as is, what is extra hate going to do for it, it still can never keep aggro from any melees in range...

I box a mage (85), ranger (80) and a wizzy (78). While the mage never gets aggro the ranger has stole aggro on a mob if I start his trueshot disc to soon. The wizzy can easily get summoned if she is burning thru the mana on those instant cast spells doing 16k a pop, which is the reason I was looking these pet toys up.

So you are right that the mage rarely steals aggro but other classes will.
