I got this item for my shm about a month ago, and even tho it lists improved damage 2 it doesn't seem to work. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?(shm is below 44 to)

Improved Damage only works on single DDs.

No rains, no dots, no AEs.
Very Nice

I have lived in the bazaar for last month or so trying to equip myself just right. I saw this nice item and promptly snatched it right up. I am a druid on use it on my wrist opposite from a Chipped bone braclet. It looks like gnome skin (jet black) looks very sweet sandwiched between the plate look of my Crystal chitin Arms and Gautlets of Iron Tactics. The AC and resists are nice, and hitting DD's with 20%more dmg is very sweet. Good Luck to all. BTW paid 3k, and when i get ready to sell, it wont go for less. Even though pricing data says 2k avg. JUst exceptionally rare, plus few items with Imp Dmg II.

#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 16 2002 at 6:57 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This sucker can also go on the waist and wrist - not going to replace my thick banded belt, but I wouldn't think twice about replacing my neck or wrist.
RE: Great for SK

actually, you are mistaken. the two aspects of a lifetap (hurt/heal) are focused differently. if you have a 45hp lifetap (Lifedraw) and this item, your enemy will lose between 45 and 54hp. with an improved healing item, it will heal you between 45 and 54hp. so if you want better heals from your taps, pick up an IH item.

# Jun 09 2002 at 8:55 PM Rating: Decent
Ok people listen up. A Vendor does not sell or drop this item! In the next room there is a pit with dogs in it. the ph is a imperial wardog, his rare is Deathfang. He drops 1 of 3 items. Chokidai hide pauldrens, rabbid chokidai fang, and the imperial wardog collar. Don't know what ****** started a rumor that a vendor sold this item. It was probably some moron who got the item, and sold it to the vendor because it thought it was crappy.

im sorry did i miss somthing???
# May 02 2002 at 2:48 AM Rating: Default
apples and oranges guys, did you notice this is wearable in 3 diffrent areas??? yes spiderfur collar//cloak is a bit more superior, but did you stop to relize that 10ac for a wrist slot is hmmm... how shall i put this??? pretty fuggin decent considering the stats fora wrist slot, as im sure you all noticed its harder to get good stats on a wrist that isnt found NToV or random time consuming quests or etc. yes its not good for neck, yes there are better belts, but take a minute to consider the usfullness as a bracer, infact the only thing that stops me from using this on my monk is the wieght issue, course... if it had 7 MR id add it to the wieght equasion somehow, but... im rambling
RE: im sorry did i miss somthing???
# May 03 2002 at 2:27 AM Rating: Default
I'd say it IS good for a neck, only difference between this and spiderfur is which resists it gives and 9sta over 7str, and you damn well better believe 9sta is gonna do a tank (like me) alot more good than 7str. I'd be thrilled to FINALLY get rid of my spider fur for this nice piece. And I wouldn't even consider it for any slot other than neck, it's too easy to beat 10ac on the other slots. I use a 16ac (blood ember) and 25ac 5svall 30hp/mana (tier'dal regent) wrists and 10ac 4sta 5int/wis 22%haste belt (SBoC) all of which are better for the afformentioned slots (and the BE bracer is cheaper too) but this is about the best neck item that can be easily bought.

spider fur better?
# Apr 29 2002 at 10:10 AM Rating: Default
how do you figure that spider fur is a far better item? I think most people like me would take 9sta over 7str any day.
#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 19 2002 at 10:11 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) 8kpp for this crap is a bit going overboard with the price.
RE: Hmm..
# Apr 26 2002 at 2:42 AM Rating: Default
Its prolly worth more because it can be used in Neck, Wrist and waist, meaning ye can wear it with a spider fur. Also, dont believe the prices listed, they are never acurate.
Drop
# Apr 18 2002 at 2:57 PM Rating: Default
This does indeed DROP in Cardok. This can be sold at the vendors simply by a person looting it and being crazy enough to sell it to a vendor...If the vendor has a low amount of items it will become something that the vendor will sell. This is not an item normally sold at vendors in Chardok.

The itme drops off a named dog very deep inside the zone. (do not have name, sorry)
what MOB
# Jan 09 2002 at 9:52 AM Rating: Default
So Ive read thru all the vendor talk, but does anyone know what drops this? Also can anyone confirm that it does in fact drop in this zone.
RE: what MOB
# Mar 13 2002 at 5:59 PM Rating: Default
I was told Deathfang drops this, but "dog area" was the best the guy could describe the location.
Most likely a mob drop
# Nov 28 2001 at 2:10 AM Rating: Default
I checked around in Chardok but the only vendor I have seen is the Haggle Baron but he does not sell any Imperial Wardog Collars. I also checked mobs around the kennel but none were npcs. There was a named dog at the kennel which I forgot its name but this item could be one if its drops.

#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 27 2001 at 1:51 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ok, the person that submitted it said he baught it from another player or a vender. You can buy any item that isnt no drop from another player or a vender if some other player has the item or sells an item to a vender. (Unless you own it and its lore, in which case you can only possess one of the item in your entire inventory((which includes the bank))) Where the killing of a vender came up i am clueless, ever kill a vender?. No exp that is measurable and no items usually cause the corpse POOFS. Also the person that submitted this thinks it drops (drops means that a certain mob is killed and has the item on his corpse, lol) in Chardok, which is a reasonable assumption. He maybe baught it in Cabilis or Rivervale or any darn city, he didnt say that he baught it in Chardok, although there may be a vender in Chardok, he most likely didnt buy the item there. You can buy from a player in any zone tho, omg i hope you all know this! Hope that clears up some of the confusion, wow, lots of people are genuinely confused and really dont know what they are talking about when they post. That really held me back when i was a newbie. )
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 27 2001 at 5:36 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ohhhh!!! WOW!!!!..... thats what goes on in East Commons all the time!!! DOH!
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 27 2001 at 4:39 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well since ya probably havent the takin the time to look for it there is now a quest series inside of chardok if you can get your faction up high enough. It is a ring series quest like the one in thurgadin, although i think they have only solved up to ring 3 thus far. So there is a very good chance that a vendor does indeed sell this thing inside of chardok. Oh and thanks for clearing up the fact ya can buy somethin from player in any zone im sure most of us didnt realize that til right now after reading your post.
The Item
# Nov 27 2001 at 11:48 AM Rating: Default
I submitted this item, I bought this item in game. From what i know it DROPS in chardok and in my submission email it said NOTHING about buying it from a merchant. Why Allakhazam said this I dont know. He also posted the weight as 0.0 when it clearly says 3.0, so maybe he is confused.
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 27 2001 at 5:51 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I wonder what his real name is....

Merchants in Chardok?
# Nov 27 2001 at 11:32 AM Rating: Default
Well .. its kinda easy to find out if there are any merchants in Chardok while hunting there. After killing a merchant, its corpse should dissapear immediately and not give you a chance to make a loot of it, and if does then you know.
Just my 2cp.

The vendor thing could be a mistype by Alla or there could actually be vendors in Chardok, kinda like the vendors in Runnyeye, you just have to use sneak to interact with them. Also I don't think it's a fakie, some pretty wild stuff has come out of revamped Chardok and this one may well be one of them.

Anyway, your makin my poor little woodelf bardie with 65 stamina when he's naked dr000000000l over this thing!

There is no box around the picture of the item like there should be.
RE: no inv box
# Nov 27 2001 at 12:58 AM Rating: Default
You're right, but mageloEQ Items (www.magelo.com) records it like that. Could be that the person who submitted this had Magelo running in the background and then logged off and used a screencap to report the item...

Anyway, if you're going to fake an item, it's much easier to just put a box around it like EQ does.
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 26 2001 at 9:04 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I dont know if this is sold by any vendors, but if so, I'm all in favor of it. Be great to get some of the money out of circulation.
How Much??
# Nov 26 2001 at 8:25 PM Rating: Default
Any one know the vendor and the price, this is a great item.
Interesting
# Nov 26 2001 at 8:02 PM Rating: Default
Sure would be nice to get some confirmation that this is can really be purchased (and from who). I'd very much like one, as my fire resist is rather low, and my Stamina is lacking as well. Plus I get to wear a collar (kinda kinky, eh? *grin*).
Real?
# Nov 26 2001 at 6:26 PM Rating: Default
Uhhhh i dont know of any vendors in Chardok but then again ive never been there go. I dont mean to flame but doesnt it seem a lil weird that you can get 40 AC +36 STA and +28 SVF and SVD cause it goes on neck, waist, and 2 wrist. If it was real, and im not saying it isnt, i would think it to at least be lore. Just my assumption.
RE: Real?
# Nov 26 2001 at 7:00 PM Rating: Default
10ac 9sta 7svd 7svf multiplied by 4= 40ac 36sta 28svd 28svf
RE: Real?
# Nov 26 2001 at 6:55 PM Rating: Default
Where'd you get 40 AC +36 STA +28 SVF and SVD? Unless my computer is messed up it says AC 10 STA 9 SV fire and disease 7.
RE: Real?
# Nov 26 2001 at 7:00 PM Rating: Default
2 wrists, 1 waist, 1 neck.

RE: Real?
# Nov 26 2001 at 6:58 PM Rating: Default
He is saying that you can wear 4 of these at the same time, 1 Neck, 1 Waist & 2 Wrists. It is not a Lore Item, just Magic.
RE: Real?
# Nov 26 2001 at 6:58 PM Rating: Default
Those are the stats you can get if you get 4 of them (they're not lore) and put them in all the slots they're equipable.

It's probably a real item, not many people have good chardok faction though, as mindless slaughter in Nurga and Droga isn't for everyone :)
RE: Real?
# Nov 27 2001 at 5:58 PM Rating: Default
A monk can buy from any vendor by running behind, feigning death, hitting sneak, and standing up. A rogue can do the same with sneak and hide. Since they aren't lore or no-drop, a single person could buy enough to outfit a whole guild.

I would love to hear the name of the vendor - or to hear that it was a mistake in the submission.

Glencannon.
